Thank you for sharing your story. My 22 month old daughter was recently diagnosed with a Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma, brain stem tumor. She is on chemo 5 of a 12 week regimine. Your daughter is beautiful and strong. It's when I'm alone when I cry. I don't know why our little ones have to walk this path. I will pray for you and your Adrienne. As I've told others recently about my baby girl, which I know is true of yours: Although already earned, she's too young to be fitted for her wings.....
@mte5150 thank you for your prayers. Adrienne's first tumor was on her cerebellum and brain stem and she is currently frighting 3 new tumors with great success. I will pray for your daughter also.
I had a brain bleed at age 10 i at first was sent to Louisville and had my first brain surgery there. But I still had seizures so then I went to St Louis and had 3 more surgeries and Im 19 and havent had a seizure ever since. so you can do it girl.
Im just a year younger than Adrienne. A girl I was friends with when I was younger got a brain tumor when she was i think 10. She had many surgeries and was left in a wheelchair. She fell back in school. I saw her at our brothers week long baseball tournament. She started walking again that week. The tumor came back soon after that, but she is doing well now and graduated with her class.
Adrienne is strong and courageous for all shes been through. She is truly amazing.
u r so kool adriennes mom if she faced all of that she could face anything she is a very very strong girl and so are u for being there for her every step of the way. u r both my heros. :)
