that golf has far too much diesel going in, that is what causes the black smoke and reduces power. it burns off in the manifold, turbo, egr and cat and fouls them up. a cylinder can take a maximum amount of diesel, that is the point at which there is max power and no smoke - take it further and power drops in proportion to smoke.

a lot of people confuse noise and smoke for power! it is like overfuelling a petrol engine, it damages it and the cat, egr, turbo etc...so tune it correctly!

Those both cars are fast but those TDi's are fast as hell when modded, and have lots of torque thats thair biggest advantage...
