The MPLA communistis still persecute huge numbers of Christians even to this very day. Just because the pro-left American news media proclaim Angola to "peaceful now" doesn't mean that it actually is. True to it's atheist beliefs, the US news media don't really see a problem with the persecution and suppression of religeon in other countries -- especially Christianity---- so you would expect to hear the "all is well" hype when reporting on countries like Angola or the Sudan.
