It looks nice, and I certainly would consider buying it - but it is not a Beetle. My first (of 13) VW was a Karmann Ghia, and it reminds me a bit more of that than a Beetle.

@lotrdude41392 My first car 20 years ago was a triple white 78 Super, convertible. Ah, what a car. I fell in love. I've had a 68 since then, a little gorgeous daily driver. Also a great car.

I hate to admit it but seeing them on the road anymore is getting to be a rarity. They're such amazing cars, they should live forever!

My daily driver is a 1966 fontana grey beetle. It 's a wonderful car! This new design takes the beetle back to it's roots, for sure! I love it!

I had a red '68 Bug. Sometimes I would remove the passenger seat taken to make room for DJ equipment or to help friends move. Never had a car that got so many compliments (or that was so reliable). I miss it. Looks like I have a chance to revisit my bug days once again. WHEN IS IT AVAILABLE??
