I have been here so many times. I believe that this is the true place where the Great Imam is buried. Why? because Egypt had a Shia Calpihate centuries ago- the Fatimids.
At the beginning of the 19th century repairs were necessary for the Imam's tomb so the ruler of Egypt asked the Azhar Imam and Gran Mufti to go down and see what is buried beneath.
They both went down and came out shaking. They saw a head wrapped in green silk on a beautifully decorated ebony chair. And two containers made from gold filled with oud oil that made the place smell heavenly. They could not describe the feeling they had down there
Does it matter where he is, dear brothers and sisters. Imam Hussein is now with his family and grandfather pbuh. So wake up all and start with a life that resembles the Prophet pbuh and his ahl el Bait and his companions. Where he is and where he is not, doesnt upgrade your Eeman in noway.\

His shrine is in Karabla.. both the body and the head I believe.. because when he was murdered yazid took his head to damascus Most accounts say that his head was later retrieved and interred with his body in karbala.

@elghazoli thank you... i don't think the heavenly smell is from the oil. without any oil there would be a heavenly smell in that holy place.
