Ole muchacho! Great melody! I have a comment about your right hand though: You need to work on your right-hand position, in terms of making the thumb bend like a banana (i.e. extend the IP joint) while you play, rather than have it flexed at the interphalangeal joint.

Another important tip about your right hand: at 0:58 and other instances, you play several notes in succession using your index finger, or your middle. You need to ALTERNATE index and middle. Look up the technique called PICADO.

Thanks for your suggestions. I started working on these last year. this video is more than a year old now...i started learning picado, pulgar, alzapua which has really helped me in getting my skills much better than before. I did not have a teacher so i learned some wrong techniques however it's very difficult to correct once you've learned a technique wrong, but with practice i am forgetting the old techniques and quickly becoming dexterous in the same techniques mentioned by you.

Very good comments. If you don't correct these it will limit what you can play, one day you will find a piece you can't master because of this. It happened to me and I'm still spending time correcting bad habits, regret not taking lessons earlier (I am now). But again, great work on this piece!

I would not recommend learning by yourself as it has some disadvantages....but you can begin by learning how to properly hold a guitar, tuning it and some basic chords. There are may tutorials on youtube just do some search and subscribe to their channel.
