Cobain did have one Mosrite that he played and reportedly two: One, A Blue MK V that he gave to Pat Smear and Two, A "Gospel" Which I think was just an old stock Ventures II Version 3 (Earlier design of the MK V) With a new logo painted on.

Don't get confused, Johnny Ramone's Ventures II guitars were all Version 1s.

@StainIessChina They played other models. Johnny always played a Ventures II (First Generation) Model, Cobain briefly played a Mark V model that was sold as a Gospel model. (I think it was a new old stock guitar that had the logo painted over)
