It was in a catering hall. The DJ didn't get in trouble because the couple had a really good sense of humor. Plus, he checked the disc before and it worked fine. It was a fluke and sometimes happens with CD's.

That is why you hire professionals and do LIVE music at weddings!! (I am a professional musician who always does his best to play/sing very well at each gig)

Some people can't afford the musicians AND a DJ. But, live music is very nice during a ceremony.

and live music can be messed up too. I was at a wedding last year where the pianists floundered a couple times on the 'here comes the bride' song. No biggie, just keep going with it. It's almost better if there are little flaws because there's really no fairy tale wedding. this is real life!
