you arent supposed to use that spray for the skin. the spray is for the invisible shield that goes on the screen. the zaggskin (the one that goes on the back) has the adhesive already on it. all you need to do is stick it on

@MrDantheawesomeman It does sort of hamper the retina display, it is grippy sort of, but it is easy to slide your finger across the screen.

hi i like the fact zaggskin cover the bottom and top areas more..but i was wondering ..are the cuts good on the ipod touch 4g..i heard maybe the cut out on the power button and mic cut out wasn't dat good..is the true? and how well have has the shield n zagg skin been? do u think it be ok in a griffin reveal case? i'm trying to decide out of zaggskin n front shield ..or gelaskins and clear-coat for the front..plz wrte bak wen u can thank you!

@gcaddy24 Well, it depends, if you want style/scratch resistance the Zagg is good for you. All the cut outs are great, it takes a while to get the hand of putting the skin on so it doesn't cover up some of the tinyer things such as the Microphone but it works out great! I have an invisible shield for my iPad and iPod touch 4G and I love them! The Griffin Reveal is a good case, but if you want just minimal protection, but also show the real thin-ness and style of the device, I would go with Zagg.

u dont need the solution for the zagg skin only the screen protector. the skin is like the gelaskin it sticks to the ipod without solution.

@j8o0h9n8n7y6 what he said. I installed mine perfectly fine without the solution, the only problem was that I accidentally let the little piece from the mic hole go and it got stuck on the zagg skin and it was hard to take off and it left a small bump but other than that it came out perfect.

A few quick questions...

Does the skin on the back cover all of the chrome area? Or does it leave any exposed edges or corners? (I couldn't really tell from the video because the camera seemed out of focus and you were moving fast.)

And when you squeegee the solution from under the screen protector, is there any chance it will leak into the device? (Is there a space between the screen and chrome edge like the iPod touch 2g/3g?)

@AkumaKenRyu To answer your questions, the back skin covered the entire surface, but the corners are not fully exposed. When you squeegee the solution on the device, it will not leak into the device unless you use a lot of spray. Just 1 spray of the install liquid that they give you will be good. But make sure that when you squeegee the liquid off of the device, that you squeegee the liquid AWAY from ports. Squeegee the liquid off the nearest edge of the device that does not have ports. Thx!
