@SSonyv Her mother Victoria and assistant Milly forgered Brookes signature to attract investors but the company dealt a loss. So Brooke in true style sold her company and all her stuff including all her own money to repay the investors their money. So she is now broke and without a job/company. But she is happy
(P.S. SPOILER ALLERT! she was asked to come back to the company because she was the only one with the best designes, so she got her company back.
Brooke says "ensure" (or possibly "insure"), but she meant "assure". This bugs me. Director wasn't paying attention.

@Vide0mak3r TBH the writing has got pretty bad in OTH, I'm sure it was far better in earlier seasons, but maybe I'm just being nostalgic.
