That is a cool effect starting at about 1:47. Is it the amp or is there a technique of plucking? Beautiful Playing.

Technique of plucking I believe.
getting the harmonic by plucking and touching string an octave higher than the note being played with the left hand.
@melcher Correct - they also call it 'chiming' :-)

Man you play this so well. I remember as a child my parents had a friend who taught this instrument and you play just like that man and he was a teacher of the Hawaiian Guitar. It is so lovely to listen too.

What's the tuning?
Do you use a volume pedal?

I play a GeorgeBoards Blackburst lap, 8 string, using C6 for this tune, but I also play in B11.
No volume pedal, no effects other than that from the vintage Silverface Twin Reverb.
