this song was so beutifull at my church sung entirely from vocals,wanting to hear it again i find this which seems so down and depressing. insterments can be used for awsome works but i believe church is not the place for their use.
This is a beautiful song, I sing it at Via De Christo but these people that are singing this are lazy and sound like they really don't know Jesus. I am sorry to be so critical but the purpose of praise bands is not for the enjoyment of the congregation, it is to spread the good news of the gospel. If I were not saved and heard this...I would still be walking in the dark.
No! How could you?! This is only one of the best hymns--you got rid of all the minor sound--almost dissonance--in the refrain... I'm sorry--being picky again.
