rofl wtf. Was wondering why it wouldn't work first time around, watched this video, doing everything EXACTLY as he did, and it works. Maybe it's because I was using shortcuts like ctrl+C and ctrl+V instead of right-click Copy and Paste? No clue. But this video WORKS. I was using windows 7 64-bit

@willmaster93 I encountered the same thing. Didn't work for me, when I was using CTRL+C and CTRL+P. So I did it identically to how it was done in the video, using right click, copy/paste, and it works fine. I am also on 64-bit Windows 7.

they changed how later versions of RMXP works, 1.04 requires more info like your personal email info and such, and 1.04 seems to be the only version that even wants to work with windows 7..

Postality Knights version does not even work with 7, i get errors..

@MrBarrowzscape Each one uses a scripting language called Ruby (wxRuby) -- VX uses a newer version of it, which as more functionality and allows more complex and dynamic scripts. For you, this won't matter. RPG Maker XP has better mapping capabilities, and some strong scripts available (such as XAS's Zelda like system.) But VX has a bigger community and more support. If you're new to RPG Making, you should consider RPG Maker 2003 first. It has a built in Side View Battle System, and no scripting

FIX!! For "Ntitles server error".

All you need to do is right-click and run the .exe as administrator. For some reason that will make it bypass that NTitles server error.

BTW, I'm running windows 7(64bit) and it worked fine.

Differences

XP: older version, default larger characters, harder to program but more customizable.

VX: new: smaller default characters(you have to go into the scripting to use larger character sets), easier to program, easier GUI. less customizable. better for learning.

This hasn't worked for a while. RPG Maker production was sold off and now if you have a legitamate key, you can write the new publisher. No keygen will work anymore (to my knowledge).

Hey. I got the KeyGen and everything alright, but there's one problem.

When I start XP or VX, it doesn't give me the same options. In fact, it doesn't seem to want me to use it in trial form either.

I only have 3 options in a box when I start either, "Stop," "Buy Now," or "Activate." Activate requires a serial code which contains one more set of 5 than is generated by the keygen.

All the other guides don't have this up as happening so I figure it's new, any suggestions?
