Dear casey, you're a pain in the ass sometimes ,but what you did was piss off all the politicians ie. The governor You shoulda left his weight out of it. u made it to personal. It got old. U have to admit u went went beyond rude with a lot of the callers when they disagreed with u. The frenetic rants against union protectionism and Casey's professed belief that the NJEA and CWA unions caused widespread breakdowns in the institutions of education and state gov't in general may have been more credible if the insultory tone against any opposing viewpoints were not so rudely untolerated. Listeners could literally hear the fear in the voices of callers who dared to deviate from all wise Casey's anti public servant stance. He obviously misinterpreted ratings as job security.POOF

Casey you replaced the guys who have now replaced you. I was a steady listener to D&D before they left for Detroit. When you came on with Scott, I stopped listening, just couldn't stand to hear you tell one more caller that you were always fine. I think that killed your employement in Jersey the first time. Craig Carton....if he did loose sponsors it was only because he was bringing to the surface all the corruption in Jersey govt. and was refreshingly politically correct.

Carton was smart, upto date on current events, quick and bold to stand up the way he did. When I found out you were replacing him, I assumed the station was so desperate to quickly fill the spot that you were their only option.

I truly believe the NJEA. was involved..They are a CANCER in NJ and the Educational System.. Personally I believe the NJ MAFIA has infiltrated the NJEA...100 Million a year is what they collect in Dues from teachers. this state is so Fubar, we may never be able to fix it, and one of the VOICES for that change has just been silenced.. Thinking about this, only a complete BOYCOTT of the station MAY cause them to think long and hard about this. But , definitely some shady business here.

i thought he was a good "radio talent" but was too one sided .. even bigger jerks on the air let the opposing view talk without jumping down their throat(but its radio) he could be funny, and at times be really annoying.. what i dont like is when on air talents get fired/contracts end/whatever and the stations never say a word and act like nothing changed...

He's not ignorant at all. In fact, he was often the only one with common sense, and has a great talent for handling the kooks that call.

There are always going to be haters in the world that can't handle the fact that they don't get the attention he is getting, but really, they are just losers. As are the people that are just angry at him because he isn't drinking the kool-aid they are drinking.

I would listen to Casey during my afternoon commute solely to be angered and annoyed by his impossibly consistent ignorance on just about every issue he'd speak to.

His rants were reliably thoughtless, often hateful and always irritating. Good riddance!

Thanks for posting the clips on youtube for some reason I wasn't able to listen on the podcast it wasn't loading for me so I didn't get to hear what he said. It truly is a shame I loved listening to the "Jersey Guys," and they will be missed, now I have no reason to listen to 101.5 so I'm sure they'll lose listeners. Serves them right, karma baby. ;o)
