@Devildavin DMC3 and 4 have way different stories wtf? In 3 it was the prequel to 1 which explained how Dante learned how to use his devil trigger and how Vergil was so obsessed with power that he lost sight of what was right, this becoming Nelo Angelo in the end. 4 was just about some snot nosed kid trying to save a girl.

@ADifferentKindaAsian it's because Dante is the Original main character an has waaaay more experience than Nero. Dante is also loved for his joking around all the time and never taking anything serious.

Nero and Vergil have personalities that are NOTHING alike. Face I'll leave for your opinion, but I couldnt disgaree more. I believe the novel also dismissed that possiblity.

My conclusion is that Vergil helped nero because nero wanted to protect Kyrie just like Vergil wanted to protect his mother. He went corrupt and embraced his demon side, when Dante embraced his human side. Dante came out more powerful in the end.

Technically Nero has Vergil's power. Along with Yamato, Vergil's right arm was found grasping onto it. (After he exploded in DMC1). Nero, had an accident durng one of the Order's missions, and that arm was surgically replaced with Vergil's arm, while the broken Yamato was taken by the Order. Vergil's power manifested within Nero during the fight with Agnus, calling Yamato back to him. Truth be told, that was all I got from the DMC4 character book, I don't even know if it's true.
Sadly, the character designer never stated that in the book. So i'm assuming the coloration in Nero's hair would be natural...though i highly doubt that.

Nero is NOT the son of Virgil. His arm is possessed by Virgil. Virgil lost his corporeal form when Dante defeated him in DMC1, but Virgil is not dead. What power he had left he used to inhabit Nero's arm when it was injured by a demon. Because Virgil is possessing Nero's arm, Nero is able to wield the Yamato, as Nero's arm is now virgil. Because Nero's arm is for all intents and purposes Virgil, Virgils blood has been introduced into Nero's body via the arm, hence where Nero got Sparda's blood.

My conclusion is that Vergil helped nero because nero wanted to protect Kyrie just like Vergil wanted to protect his mother. He went corrupt and embraced his demon side, when Dante embraced his human side. Dante came out more powerful in the end.

Technically Nero has Vergil's power. Along with Yamato, Vergil's right arm was found grasping onto it. (After he exploded in DMC1). Nero, had an accident durng one of the Order's missions, and that arm was surgically replaced with Vergil's arm, while the broken Yamato was taken by the Order. Vergil's power manifested within Nero during the fight with Agnus, calling Yamato back to him. Truth be told, that was all I got from the DMC4 character book, I don't even know if it's true.

Nero is NOT the son of Virgil. His arm is possessed by Virgil. Virgil lost his corporeal form when Dante defeated him in DMC1, but Virgil is not dead. What power he had left he used to inhabit Nero's arm when it was injured by a demon. Because Virgil is possessing Nero's arm, Nero is able to wield the Yamato, as Nero's arm is now virgil. Because Nero's arm is for all intents and purposes Virgil, Virgils blood has been introduced into Nero's body via the arm, hence where Nero got Sparda's blood.
