i thionk society's view on teen motherhood is harsh. God made are bodies so that they would tell us when we were ready to have children, not society. not long ago, it wasn't uncommon for girls to be having children at 14. what we do with our own bodies is our own discretion, other need to nose out.i have several teenage friends with babies, and they are amazing with them and they work so hard for them. i can't see them without thier babies at this point.

For one, I'm 17, really NOT trying to have a child. I'm actually trying to have a successful life before I have a family. Two, you can tell you're going to TRY to get pregnant before anything, just by that comment. Three, realize something, this is from two and a half years ago. Four, I have a certification now that allows me to work with children. I worked in a daycare for the past year with newborns to 4 year olds. Don't say shit before you don't know the situation buddy.

I enjoyed reading your article alot! I took home a little girl in March who I named Aubree Jayne. And let me tell you, I feel your pain. I realize this video was from a while ago but the annoyance of these dolls dont chage. I had Aubree for a weekend. That was the longest weekend of my life. I took her so many places in public because my mother wanted to to get the "feel" for parenting. And the looks from people are halrious. She cried alot. and I only got a 72%. Honestly, I think more students should do that, because the reality of it is you're not going to stay trapped in your house all day if you have a kid. You'll have errands to run, things to do, in which you'll have to bring your child.

i had to do that in high school. i ended up ripping the insides out of it because i was also working after school to help mom pay the bills and there was no way i was gonna lose the few hrs of sleep i was able to get each night. the teacher asked me why i did this and i told her and then said, i know that you cant compare a real baby to this stupid machine so get bent lady. well, i got the boot from school, got my GED, went to college got married n had a real baby. was nothing like the robot.

I did this for my parenting class in 8th grade. I decided to take it over the weekend, but my teacher made it shut off on sunday afternoon so I wouldn't be completely dead on monday. My mom made me bring it to the grocery store, I was 14 and I already look younger than I am so I'm sure people were thinking why the heck is some 10 year old walking around with a baby!?! It was also the weekend of my middle school science olympiad tournament, so I had to bring the baby there too... pretty crazy!

I disagree with the part about that it would be less teen pregnancy if teens took them home. Teens know the consequences that may come along with having sex. Even if they got these they would still have sex. Unprotected or not... The condom can still break then they'll have a baby. Some people take these things as a joke and still do whatever they want. Having these fake babies won't really reduce the number of pregnancies but will just give us a tad bit of a feel of how a real baby would be.

Oh sheesh. I remember doing that in high school. The first one I chose was a floppy head. That one was broke, which no one knew about. Including me. It would not stop screaming and crying even if I tried my hardest to put the censors hard against each other. I felt so horrible and I couldn't get a hold of my teacher. So I put it in the bathroom and threw pillows and blankets over it so it was muffled. I cried that whole weekend.

The hiccup sound is when it's about to cry I think. Did you use your thingy to activate it? And sometimes you have to rock it or burp it or change it or feed it for a good ten to fifteen minutes. That's what happened with mine
