Its not overrated and he has at least a few albums, so its not the same 5 or 6 songs every night. Also, its not 30 god damn years, its 11 he's been out there. I'm not a huge fan of sax music, but this guy was damn good, drew a large crowd and was the perfect mood music to hear in Vegas.

Boring, cliche, pentatonic blah blah blah... squeals/squeaks, too much reverb, too much delay. Listen to some Coltrane instead. Coltrane or any other respectable musician actually plays with other people, not pre-recorded boner jams.

Carl Ferris is my favorite thing about Freemont St. I've been to Las Vegas twice and have to listen to him play. I never knew I would love the sound of one person playing anything before I saw him. I had to get the CD they had called "All Blown Out" if you get a chance buy it you can find places online by doing a search of him. The CD is well worth the money I play it all the time.

I just caught the guy in the middle of the street in a pink suit, looking a bit clownish. He played a song for about 30 seconds and then cut it off.  None of the songs seemed to have a structured ending.

Completely mind-blowing tone. Best performance I've ever seen in Las Vegas, by a long shot.
