Have you tried moving closer to the amp? I think the headstock has to be closer to the amp. The sound is coming from my computer, I don't know how to hook up the guitar. I think if you sit on the amp and play guitar it will pick up the sound. Or maybe lay down and put the amp on top of you.

hmm.. I've been trying to get closer to the amp but the problem is that I'm kind of cautious about approaching it now. I did get under it like you suggested and it crushed me somewhat and I was unable to get free or reach my guitar from that position. After I finally managed to get out from under it I couldn't reach my guitar again and am still unable to put it in my hands. How do you have it in your hands and have it reach the amp? Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it!

What I did was invest about 4 grand into my own sound transmitter which was placed right near me, and I used a cut up hanger to connect the guitar to the transmitter. After the hospital bill it only came to about 10 grand. I hate to sound cocky, but I do consider myself a genius for it.

Yeah sure. Give me a few days and I'll map out all the parts. In the mean time, try putting your amp back on top of you and this time make sure the guitar is in reach, I hear it usually works the 2nd or 3rd time.

But that is the innate problem, my amp is on one side of the room near the only outlet and my guitar is nearly impossible to pick up, especially when Im under the amp. I dont think this route will be very effective in the long run. I hope you can get me the schematics as quickly as possible, I cant wait to play!!!

Is your guitar really heavy? That should be an easy fix. Go out and buy a fork lift, they're not that expensive. Then lift the guitar onto your amp then play your guitar as if it was a piano. I should start charging your for my expert advice.

If you want to make sounds with your guitar (or even a smaller guitarette which you can buy in costco) you can hit it with a stick or a brush. Its fantastic. and sometimes try hitting a pot against a pan.
