KEEP YOUR SHIT OFF MY F***** FB PAGE.... YOU GIVE ME SHIT FOR SINGING YOUR F****** song on my you tube channel keep your shit to your self f u !!!!!!!!!!
i think i'm just gonna put headphones on and play dead flowers on loop for the rest of my life. i might get hit by i car i can't hear, but i'll least i'll have roses on my grave.
as great a guitarist as mick taylor is, i think he's better on their rock stuff. this is too country for his guitar style. keith should play lead on this. they should share lead and rhythm more (like keith and brian did and keith and ronnie do now). Brian Jones just sounded like a jerk to me. Mick taylor sounds like the quiet lead guitarist that for some reason stayed in the background.
@thecowboy7492 well, he's sayin that Mr. Taylor is a great guitarist an has a rilly fluid sound. he prefers this here live version o Dead Flowers with Mr. Taylor on the guitar. versions of live recordins with Mr. Wood is got a inferior level to em. he don't mean that Mr. Wood is a inferior guitarist an he make it clear that this jus hisn opinion. but them versions with Mr. Wood dont seems as good to him caus he likes the way Mr. Taylor played this song live with the Rolling Stones.
@Xlion901 I agree. Mick Taylor certainly delivers an awesome performance! His lead & direction are why he was a member of the Stones to begin with, his execution and composure are simply good enough for us to comment on this song MANY years later...
TRUE. Since Mick Taylor left the band The Stones simply haven't made music that was as good as the music they made WITH Mick Taylor in the band .. FACT.
I heard Keith say in an interview on XM radio with Andrew Moog Oldham that "I dont really know why Mick left the band to this day..".....He wont admit that they didnt credit him with songwriting like he deserved.. Mick was slighted, angry and decided to leave... Smart or not he did..Great guitar player..
Great video, excellent sound quality. And what a killer solo by Mick T. They were never the same after he left. Was this from their '71 "farewell to the UK" tour before they headed off to the basement in France to record Exile?
I will always lament Taylor leaving the Stones .If Mick and Keef had just stuck to song writing and left the fancy guitar awork to Taylor they would have attained a much higher musical standing .
I don't know . Maybe Keef felt threatened by Taylor .
Chet Atkins aint got nothin on Mr. Mick Taylor.

his guitar playing is very tasteful and fluid by far the best guitarist the band has ever had
