  • i hate the song, its so freaky, whats it called?

  • I wish he had been the next Doctor Who!

  • Love You, Robert!!!! <3 <3

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS MAN 8D!!!! He makes me proud to be scottish <3

  • These first 10 minutes are enough..

I don't need to watch the whole movie

I just come to see the first 10 minutes over and over again

  • Holy fuck 2:45 scared the absolute shit out of me!

  • am i the only one here having little problems to understand fully scots accents? and i do try hard..But it s really RRRRRRRRRRRROOOWWWWWLINNG TH ARRRRR and TRRRRICky^^

  • I watched this movie today. Its was so good but in the first scene i was hoping for don to get eaten after what he did to his wife :) sick minded kid i am.

  • I think he just said "Doctor Who is lightweight trash which is beneath me" as politely as he could!

  • @joaofranco21 I've wasted a lot of finger-energy tyring to explain that. NOT zombies! They are NOT DEAD! They have a VIRUS!

  • i like it how one minute there eating nice warm pasta and then about 5 minutes later he is bolting it away.

  • i love this man, but i don't understand him! LOL ;D

  • 2:07- that was what made me watch the rest of the movie..because i wanted to know what was gonna happened after he left his wife..best movie ever in 07 i wish it came out again or they made another one..i cried at that pat too..

  • Every time Carlyle gets teary in a scene...i cry. Thats what i remember of this movie.

  • I WISH he'd take the role of Dr Who... I stopped watching after Tennant left

  • Does anyone know when 28 Months later comes in the Cinema?

    P.S: I love his scottish accent :)

  • @SheetaDeLaputa

    About 4 years ago xD.

  • @brendude95 I don't think so. I read in the internet, that the Kinostart is not before 2011.

  • @SheetaDeLaputa

    ? Eh

This movie was released in 2007, trust me.

It was on TV a few days ago, and movies aren't on TV until WELL after they are released.

  • @brendude95 I mean the third movie. Not 28 Days later, not 28 Weeks later, but 28 months later.

I know that 28 weeks later was in the german cinema 2007.

  • @SheetaDeLaputa

Oh right xD. I thought that was a bit odd.

28 months later isn't confirmed yet, even if it was, with filming and editing it will take years to come out.

I hope they do make a sequel.

  • @brendude95 Oh, ok. I thought they began filming already...

    I hope so, too.

    Thank you :D

  • @SheetaDeLaputa

    Haha no problem.

They gave us such a teaser at the end of the movie, they left it open for a sequel.

Oh and by the way, do you know at the end of the movie where the helicopter is flying over the cliffs? I live there, you can actually see my friends house in the shot xD.

  • @brendude95 Yes, they showed the infected people running over a place in front of the eiffel tower..

Cool! I love the landscape there. I'd like to live there :D

  • @SheetaDeLaputa

Haha yeah, only sea can stop the virus, if it reaches France, it will be in China by the end of the week.

1 billion zombies is a pretty messy situation.

  • @brendude95 I agree with you completely :D The only people who will never be infected are the ones on the ISS. And they will starve. That was it with humanity..

  • @SheetaDeLaputa

    Wow, that's pretty deep.

One person's natural immunity to the virus ended up killing 7 billion people.

  • @brendude95 That's quite bad. Maybe there would be more people with natural immunity and they will survive... that reminds me on the TV film 'Lost Future' in which the humanity lives in a sort of coexistance with zombies. And every human who gets in contact with one of the zombies mutates... but they have a medicine.

  • @SheetaDeLaputa

Probably, they aren't really immune though, they are asymptomatic, which means they can still infect anybody.

  • Dr Rush!!!!!

  • The virus were gone for sometime then they founded the wife of Don the character :P then Don did go to the kids kids was at safe room and sametime the Scarlet were talking with the Army like ... -.- anyways he was black ... so she talked with that black guy and sayd the wife has been bited and are like the virus starterer.... so the virus comes if you like kiss ... so he kissed and turned to zomb eated wife...soliders i liked solider who was at post but he got burned by humans -gasmens :(

  • Not a zombie film, this is an infected film. None of the infected are dead or controlled by voodoo. Great film, but not a zombie film. : /

  • cool

  • Can anyone tell me what song is playing at the tail end?

  • @Dabrasz its a muse song anyway, cant think of the name of it

  • 2:47 scared the shit out of me!!! DON'T DO THAT!!!!

  • Nice accent buddy. :)

  • im french so i don't understand everything, most of all with his accent but he looks like great :) loved him in trainspotting too.

does everyone in scotland speak this way ???

  • @barjotin

    Basically...yes xD

  • scotland forever bitches

  • scotland forever bitches

  • hahha i just now realized that this is Robert Carlyle, he also played Hitler: The Rise of Evil

  • Where is he from ?

  • @Haznote from Scottland

  • @DrRush13 And everybody in scottland has the same accent ? :)

  • @Haznote Well I am not sure, I'm from Germany :) but yes, I think so ;)

  • C'è qualke italiano k può tradurmi qll k ha dtt? l'accento scozzese è davvero difficile da capire.... vi parla una k ha 9 a ing ^^ ^^ xdxd

  • Not Zombies... Zombies don't starve to death like the Infected. Since they have no real brain activity to feed and drink, but to be in endless rage and kill shit they do die from lethal injuries (getting shot, cut/bleeding to dead, or starving). Zombies on the other hand are already dead and reanimated. Zombies only completely die if you injure their Brain (specifically the Brain Stem) or when decomposition takes its toll and the zombie will die.

  • He plays Gabriel Belmont. His Voice is 50% why I have a man crush on Belmont.

  • @Daitsdudes i have an all out obsession with belmont. LOL and the voice is well done. LOL

  • @TruthTeller878 what the hell is wrong with you??

  • He is a good man, I had the pleasure of working with him, a real class act that Bobby.

  • So, how did it feel to play the the character of a raging freakshow? :)

  • ha ha im Scottish myself and he is a credit to our country along with the other famous Scottish actors u knew the immortal Sean Connery and gerad butler is getting popular to

  • FRANCOOOOOO BEGBIE MOTHERFUCKERSSSSSSSSSSSS¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • its not a fuckin zombie they are infetected whit rage

  • @atom608 kudos to you! there's so many people calling 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later zombie movies

  • @atom608 No wonder they ran so fast

  • @atom608 I don't think it matters whether it's the undead or the infected when they are clawing through your windows trying to eat you.

  • @TheUup115 LOL I posted that 1 year ago

  • ich really love robert carlyle, but I'm german. I understand english, BUT when he talks so fast with this accent i dont understand a word ;)

I watched many movies with him, so I think I can say he's one of the best actors I know :D

  • @DrRush13

Ich find es auch richtig schwer zu verstehen, ich muss es mir meistens dreimal ansehen, um alles mitzukriegen... ist aber immer noch besser als die deutschen Synchronstimmen.

  • @DrRush13

i agree he has a strong accent and i have to listen carefully to understand what he says (i'm french) and yes he is a good actor !

  • @missconcorde Fucking French dickcunt fuck suck

  • @DrRush13 haha that's funny! I was just going to comment that he does have a Very rich scottish accent.

  • very good actor, this ios my favorite movie

  • Not Zombies!

  • @SamHardstyle234 it's just easier to call them zombies!

  • Muse's Shrinking Universe is the perfect song for that film.

  • @papparocha hell yeah

  • @Theb0bmeister94 i kno that freaked me out!!

  • @Theb0bmeister94 hahaha to scare the shit out of us !!

  • there should be a 28 weeks later episode of simpsons LOL

  • They are not FREAKING ZOMBIES! They are just full of rage and get all bloody. . . there not zombies, for the last time!

  • @twilightiswhatilove2 k settle down, zombies is just a fucking term everyone is familiar with, zombie includes rabies infected or distemper. pretty much a fucked up person who is bleeding from the fucking eyes and they wanna munch on your arm so just shut up.

  • @cashmanjoe I was just trying to make a point. and you should just shut up.

  • @twilightiswhatilove2

Well the original Haitian zombies weren't dead, so if they're zombies, then these are zombies. The difference is really irrelevant anyways.

  • ive worked with the guy who played his body double in a play recently. he was great and i didnt know he was the body double to after he left XD woulda loved to ask him some questions about what it was like on set

  • this movie was like perfect

  • i can still picture the blood dripping out of his eyes and mouth... a face I prefer not to look at

  • unfortunately matt smith took davids place :)

  • Robert is great actor, in this film he had excellent running scene and emotions.

I wanted he surveved, but they make zombie from him.

Great Robert, great film, great music, one of the best zombie films.

  • wats with all this muse?

  • @nickelbacking13 Muse = Excellent music for this movie.

  • love you kid im english id alwayas stand up for you, because im from the nuniverse , not earth. should have done doctor who like, x

  • cool video

  • the nicest people always play the evil characters the best...Don and Rush =)

  • Neither character is evil in any way. Don's a wimp, admittedly but not a bad man - until he gets infected. Rush is complex and multifaceted, but not evil. RC can do evil - watch his Hitler or Sergei Karpovitch (Human Trafficking) - yet he's at his best playing flawed but sympathetic human beings. I'd put Don and Rush in that latter category. He's fantastic in both roles and they're very different.

  • i saw this movie its great

  • @IamLegend22

    On DVD.

  • @Gewok666 yea lol i know dude i actually meant to watch it online but whatever watched it now very great movie

  • i soo love this music i have seen 28 days later in tv but where can i watch this one?

  • ....american accent hahahaa

  • that's right routex 7044 ,that fucking infected don goguges it like anything, but its not real, i have seen a video of shooting of that part. after seen is cut, alice is laughing and on takes his eye lens

  • the bit where he gouges his wifes eyes out is the most disturbin thing i have ever seen, gratuitus gore.....love it

  • muse?

  • i like the soundtrack when he was chasing with the zombies

  • yeah the first 10 minutes were sick.. After then it was just an OK movie...

  • @4everstoked lmao thanks..........we all really needed to know that

  • Robert Carlyle wouldve made a far better Doctor Who than Matt Smith... though I do say bring back David Tennent! lol

  • I lovvveeeeeee his adorable accent!!!!He rolls the "R" letter,lovely indeed!!!!

  • @wannaknowit That is because is is scotish... -.-

  • Strangely, on Stargate Universe he usually does not.

  • Is that a muse song at the start ? if so what song is it ?

  • @ExcessiveHorse shrinking universe

  • @ExcessiveHorse It sounded a bit like Mars Volta...

  • Comment removed

  • Muse - Shrinking Universe

  • i'm pre-ordering it from discshop! (it's just an shop in finland) i can finally see these movies they look so cool! i love zombie movies and games! LEFT 4 DEAD FTW! 28 weeks later FTW!

  • 28 days, and 28 weeks later are far more realistic simply because a 'Rage Virus' could conceivably happen. Whose to say what is being experimented on without our knowldedge? After all, the general public are just sheep to the slaughter. We are always the last to know about secret projects and what not. 28 Days and Weeks is far more realistic. But, that is not to say that one day we could not find a way to reanimate the dead too. I mean, nothing is impossible.

  • I like his accent

  • @bowdude25 That is because is is scotish... -.-

  • waiting for a PS3 game version to rank Resident Evil.

  • FromyColdeadHands: you should never say EVERY thought that crosses your mind... it makes you look like a fucking idiot. wait a second... perhaps you are!

  • they are talking bot an infection in t^he blood. theyrenot zombies you asshole

  • You would be right, but 28 weeks later, basterdized the principle of the "infected", by having an infected with his stomach torn open by the helicopter in army fatigue. But most zombies in the newer films always have a blood virus and spread it from open contact when in contact with non infected blood.

  • i saw you playing with jack bauer in some video... you're great auctor !è

  • Greatest Zombie Movie of ALL time

  • 28 Days/Weeks Later > Dawn of the Dead

  • No Dawn of the Dead set the stage for zombie movies, all movies after that are simply copying off of George Romero's genius. Keep in mind that the original Dawn of the Dead was made in 1978 and it still kicks the remake ass, and annihilating 28 days/weeks.

  • i think your just one of those that enjoys american movies that is just accion. 28 days later is much better than dawn of the dead, it is so much more realistic than dawn of the dead.

and i personally like more 28 days later than 28 weeks later.

  • How is Dawn unrealistic? I think that holding out in a mall is more realistic than finding horny soldiers holed up in a villa. 28 Days has bad acting which hurts the story a lot. If Brenden Gleeson was not in the movie, It would have never been watched. If there was a zombie/ infected plague don't you think that their would be more then the 100 or so in days. The olny scary part is that UK has nazi gun laws so their is no chance. What can be salvaged from days?

  • ok forget it i was just saying shit about the realistc thing but about te acting 28 days later has a very good acting, that you don´t know the actors i another thing ...

  • I don't say everything that crosses my mind , I present logic, you attack me, see the picture. Everyone knows that if 28 days were given a bigger budget they would turn it into Speilbug filth. The acting was bad, nobody has even defended it here, the story is very linear and unsophisticated, in a bad way, I give you this, best British themed movie hands down, but its kind of pathetic thats all that can be accounted for. You guys don't even have a Speilbug, where all the good British actors?

  • ok sorry but the acting was not bad the story is very good (well i like it) and if it had a bigger budget it would be the same way that's Danny boyle's style... well it was just my opinion but I think the first dawn of the dead was better because in that one they were real zombies... and that did it funnier but still i like mst 28 days/weeks later

  • You thought that was good acting? I admit, the acting in the Dawn remake is good, not great, but just good enough to make the whole thing great. 28 days is very forced and unatural, weeks did have better acting, especially the guy who played Doyle, who also played the soldier in The Hurt Locker. I think 28 weeks can stand alone as its own film, makes perfect sense and there is no need for days, plot wise. Brendan Gleeson is a good actor, but he should have been the colonel, would have been better

  • Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Ewan McGregor, Patrick Stewart, Jude Law, Robert Caryle, Tim Roth (LEGEND, in most quentin tarantino films + lie to me), John Cleese, Sean Bean, Hugh Grant, Hugh Laurie (House)

    Need anymore Legend British actors?

  • @MrRhysSir

Ewan is a terrible actor, Roth is a bad actor, Jude Law a Speilbug whore,

Patrick Stewart great , Hugh Laurie great , Sean Con crazy good

Good actors but Britain needs some good films, actors won't cut it.

What about Deniro, Pacino, Mickey Rourke, Harrison Ford, Charlton Heston, Woodey Harelson, Tommy Lee Jones, Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise, Michael douglas, Sharon Stone, Joe Pesci, Willem Dafoe, Tom Berringer, Will Smith

    You forgot Anthony Hopkins? Why?

  • i agree, British film industry doesn't compare to the sheer size of Holywood, but i answered your Question "Where are all the good British actors?" and il tell you. They're all in america staring in series like 'The mentalist', 'House', 'FlashForward'! it really annoys me but thats where the good films and money are at. But what frustrates me most is how they are told to put on american accents. :@ :@

    Anthony Hopkins = GOD

  • @MrRhysSir

I was saying about the actors in 28 weeks, not all British actors period, as we both agree there are some great guys in the ring. Stewart, Hopkins, and Sean are more natural with their accents. Stewarts voice with that elegant accent would be good. But Star trek demands a ... well you know bad ass like Stewart. Ever see ST: First Contact ?

  • i havn't really seen much star trek, i never got into it. i'v seen the latest film but it didn't do much for me. But i think you can be badass with a british accent, take all the james bond's! But not all people have an elegant accent in britain. you can get some scary mo' fuckers like Vinnie Jones! i tell you what is a good british film, "Snatch". its got brad pitt in it but mainly a british line up.

  • @MrRhysSir

The new star trek is an abomination to the old series. James Bond is great, I only fancy the Peirce ones. Snatch was very boring and it was a copy off of Tarintino like filming. It was ok, the only good part being the arms dealer. But the whole idea of the movie is to real for me as in Britain only bad guys have guns. I'm not big on those films, I'll watch Pulp Fiction for a pass time. I like Oliver Stone and a little of Kubrick. Oliver Stone is great.

  • What about simon pegg?

  • Good list, but Ian McKellen, Laurence Olivier, Michael Gambon, Christian Bale and Richard Attenborough are also all British, and legendary. Theres loads more as well :)

  • OMFG..2:48 HEART ATTACK

  • you is the zombie here

  • lol haha, a understand this cos am from where hes from :D. yasss lol.

  • he is freakin awesome in Ravenous!

  • Oh yeah, he is a great actor. He is currently starring in Stargate Universe. Youtube it, very nice sci-fi.

  • He's good as Hitler as well

  • Are they gonna make a sequel to 28 weeks later?

  • yeah supposedly, 28 months later, and its gonna be in europe, but i dunno when its gonna come out?

  • THE "ZOMBIE" SICKNESS IS REAL!!! The AIDS sickness is a type a zombie disease. Some evil people in our U.S. government created this sickness & abortion as a way of population control murder! This is evil. Also the government wants people to get vaccinated with another new disease. VACCINATIONS ARE TOXIC! Please research this fact. *I know the cure

  • hahaha , your name is truthteller...

    you dumb?

    thumbs up dumbass

  • hahaha you really shouldnt believe everything you hear.

  • and abortion was actually created bye ancient egyptions.

  • Yes

  • He did a great job with Hitler.

  • I just noticed that Robert is Scotish. I thorght he was a real Scouser when i watched the 51st State film.

  • hahaha, so did I! He's very very good with accents.

  • I absolutely love his accent but I dont understand nothing because of this one =D

  • the scariest part of this movie FOR ME was when the boy went upstairs in the house when he thought his sister was hiding from him and his mother crawled out from behind the bed, that spooked the shit out of me because i thought she was dead.

  • He is a great actor!!!

  • i cant understand nothing because of this accent.

  • what happened to the other 3?

  • always loved his acting

and the movie 28 Weeks Later

    The Full Monty

    51st State

    Trainspotting

    The World is not Enough

  • awesome actor

  • playing tag with zombies ahh lol

  • Love his Scottish dialect

  • I watched the interview but the whole time I was expecting Carlyle to glass or knife the man

  • more then just the movie the soundtrack to it really fits.... to me the soundtrack is half the movie

  • Absolutely. Without this soundtrack the movies would probably be pretty good, but with it they're some of my favorite films.

  • Love 28 days also. Both movies are ones to own.
