@bvestationfan well i bought a phenom II x2 555 and made it a phenom II x4 with the press of a key, how many intel chips can do that? also i havent found a game i cant max out on my monitors native resolution sooo i would have to say your are wrong

@playstationRLZ Intel CPUs are incredibly futureproof, with turbo boost, hyper threading, 8Mb+ of L3 Cache for the Quad Cores, 12 MB Cache for 6 Cores, and 16-24 MB Cache for Intel's 8 core Xeons. AMD doesnt have hyperthreading, more then 6 cores nor do they have more then 6 MB of Cache. Also, I dont think AMD dedicates a line of CPUs to servers, like Intel, who dedicate their Xeons for server use. Also Dual cores suck, and the Quads for AMD get owned by the i5 750 760 and all the i7 Quads/Hexa

I just bought a Quad Core Q8300 using my 9800GT and games are running amazing. I plan to get rid of my emachine intel pentium d 805 and 4670 and buy a either a e2210 emachine or something else as for dual cores and buy a gt240. Prebuilts are the best IMO, don't have time building stuff. As for being more expensive, not really. How much did your cost to build?

Actually the 5850 was like 60 bucks more expensive than the GTX 275, not 100, I made the conversion wrong from my local currency to dollars :P

It really is an awesome rig, i have the same CPU (not OC though) and a GTX 275, the 5850 was almost 100 bucks more expensive, one question about it: How better is the 5850 over the GTX 275 (appart of supporting directx11)? and which would be a good CPU cooler for the phenom II 965 X4? Ive read some reviews and it looks like the CM hyper 212 plus is a great choice no matter what are you running, even overclocking. Thanks

it's very hard not to since it requires cpu power so unless you got a quad core it would usually include the fps drop.
