  • god their are some stupid people on rescue 911

and the end was like an anti-gun commercial ..LAME

guns don't kill stupid people kill people

  • Wasn't this one in a Rescue 911 book? Or maybe a story like it because I seem to remember reading a Rescue 911 book that was made for kide with a story like this.

  • The story you are thinking about is "911 Rifle" from Episode 109 (alternatively titled "Girl Shot By Her Own Dad's Gun" in Rescue 911 Kid Heroes).

  • I am a 12 kid and I know where my dad's gun is where the lock's key is and everything and im not that stupid to get a gun and the shell's and shoot my brother!!!! YOU SHOULD ALWAYS PUT A GUN WHERE A CHILD COULDNT FIND OR REACH IT!!!!!

  • In this country, America, the right to bear arms is gareented by the Constitution of the United States. Any law banning guns is unconsitutional.

My dad had a gun case filled with guns and my brothers and I never thought twice about going into and playing with a gun. there is no reason for anyone to get into trouble. It was a terriable accident.

  • 2:16

So this kid knew how to load a gun? But didn't know how much damage it could do?

  • for fuck seek i would change or trade place with him or her don,t help just don,t carry fire arm we don,t fucking need guns why da fuck guns ha fucking idiots everybody that carrys guns but law people are fucking idiot man i am so fucking mad i get so fucking pissed when i see a child getting h

  • kids in the 90's were so stupid, gee i will play with a gun just like in the cartoons and when by brother gets shot i will get my best friend and not an adult and try to sound smart by saying its a 12 gauge

  • wat if they had someone break in with a gun wats are they going to use to protect themselves cuz the intruder would be on there property so they have the right to bare arm an shoot them

  • ill just throw shaving razors at him and tickle him

  • *facepalm*

I feel terrible for the child who was shot, but the dumb ass who was playing with the shotgun WTF?! If I was his father I would beat his ass till he wouldn't be able to sit down for thirty years!

"I never knew a gun could do so much damage."

    -.- Here let me show you something, this is a .22 :}

  • The last and worst thing to do is the panic in any situation. Just stay calm otherwise you won't be any help.

  • i remember this show so well

  • that was really stupid of the father to leave the gun under the bed. all guns r suposed to be in a lock cabnit and key in a high spot or in the parents room.

  • Parents FAIL! Guns and ammo are to be locked up in a gun locker with electronic locks that require numerical codes. Or Better yet, Don't buy a gun in the first place!

  • ok first of all it wasnt the dads faulte it was the kids faulte he pulled out the shotgun soo hes responsible

  • that is one lucky some bitch

  • hey if the person that was the one that accidently shot ur brother dont beat ur self it was an accident accidents well happen but this might happen in ur life every onece in a while if u accidenaly killed him it's ok god knows you didn't mean to look the point is if he's dead is that you should know that he's in a better place now if he's alive just be glad you still have your brother your brother well always love you dead or alive

  • so was that a heart shot?

is he dead he looks dead

  • the kid said he saw how to load it on TV, the mother and father should not have not had a shotgun where the kids can get to it and they were to small to be left at home alone

  • yeah im pretty sure his dad taught him how to load and shoot that gun and you should not put your gun under your bed in the first place

  • there is no such thing as "accidently went off"

Thats why guns have a safety latch. and why is the gun NOT in a safe?? or out of reach of the kids?

    Moron dad

  • did the kid say damn it at 0:38

  • how does stuff like this happen? stupid parents :(

  • Hey to all of u that call the any of them stupid or dumbass's FUCK OFF!!!! Steven and Andrew are my cousins and they are the most BadAss people u could meet!!! So haters..... STFU!

  • the kid had to have been taught to load and shoot that gun.

  • thank the FCC they have gone down hill before yyou c

  • I agree, he also knew the size of gun!!!

  • He said he learned how from TV.

  • yeah, by tv

  • Yeah...how could the kid pump the shotgun like that. The safety usually prevents that and you need to have some strength to do that...The father is an ass for not putting a safety on his gun.

  • they obviously used a fake gun

  • the safty was on but the kid pushed the safty to off and fire the gun at the kid. it showed it right before the shooting.

  • So true, the father should HAVE gotten an safety lock or a gun locker or placed the ammo somewhere else away from the gun.

  • More moron gun owners.

A $5 trigger lock and 2 cents of COMMON SENSE (!) would have prevented this.

  • No to

    Guns

    Drugs

    Alcohol

  • alcohol isnt bad if u can control ur self guns arent nad unless u dont thake it seriously

  • damn kids

  • I wish I could say that. "I got shot by a shotgun and lived."

  • you lucky man

  • i really hope he doesnt blame himself forever

  • he will probably commit suicide in the future.

  • cute kids.

    the mother takes no responsibility.

she blames the guns, but they may need a gun one day, to protect the kids...

  • 0:38

    ok lemme transfer u

    Hello... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

    Lol that made me laugh

  • Stupid kid what he say's on the phone (boy) "i'm going to hang up now" (911 opperatetor)"Don't hang up"

here's a important tip DON'T HANG UP ON A 911 SYSTEM OR OPPERATETOR OR GO TO JAIL!!!

  • lucky u didnt shoot his brains out

  • retarded paretns

  • Comment removed

  • you cannot rely on the safety :{

  • i dont want to souned mean or anything but the kid shouldnt have loadid it he shouldnt have had the shotgun in the first place it was kind of a stupip decision to play wit the shoutgun in the first place

  • Stupid Kid. He Should've Known Better Then Touching That Gun. But As The Old Saying Goes, "Boys Will Be Boys".

  • responsible for a kid is totally different from responsible for an adult. i have no problem with people having guns. i grew up in a house with guns galore (hunting family). but this is exactly what gun cabinets with locks were made for. my pap kept all the guns locked up tight, even the air rifle and B.B guns. kids are kids, and they get into the damndest situations.

  • this is in usa? i swore it said it happened in texas

  • Are you people fucking retarded? GUNS ARE INANIMATE OBJECTS!

  • FIREARMS ARE INANIMATE OBJECTS...

  • i own a 870 express remington 12 gage shotgun and other guns i live with my brother i pay him rent i live in the basement room with a door lock and a big gun vault my brother has 2 kids one boy one girl that why i lock my high power rifles up for ...

  • Good thinking dude

  • "how old is your brother??"

"Hes si, hes sev, hes eight!" lol

Omg i feel so bad for him!

  • 11? the kid looked more like 9

  • I don't even think the dad should't have had the gun in the first place. Guns are very bad you could kill someone with them.

  • Ohh STFU. You're the reason America is gonna fail soon because you don't believe in defending yourself.

The Father did what he was supposed to do, the gun and ammo was in a separate place and that is the law. That kid was old enough to do the right thing, even his little brother told him he was a dumbass for playing with the weapon.

  • proper gun safety was clearly not demonstrated within the family.

  • The Ammo wasn't in a safe place it was in a camera case he went in there to take pictures but when he opened it he saw the ammo instead thats when he got the idea to play with the gun, and the gun was under the bed he knew exactly where it was. If your gonna let them play with the gun at least teach how to use it probably or put it on safety or something.

  • The kid said, "I never thought a gun could do that much damage"

That tells me the father did NOT do what he was supposed to do in not effectively warning him about gun danger. The kid is an idiot, but so is the father.

  • Everyone can be shot, both from other persons AND accidental if firearms is being played with by kids who doesent know to handel them. It happens, but luckly not often.

  • how are they the ones that are gonna make america fail?

you are because you're one of the dumbasses that play with guns.

the dad should have at least put that shit where the kids couldn't have gotten into them.

  • Well that law isnt good enough, the weapons should always be locked up in a wepons locker, and the key should always be on the owners body. Then its perfectly safe.

  • Probably should have put a simple lock on the ammo, though.

  • you are damn right man.

  • Thanks for the info, anamallover. I never knew guns can kill people with lead bullets that go more than 900fps.

  • Its only when guns are used improperly that accidents happen. Gun was under the bed and the ammo was pretty high up, higher than those kids would be able to normally reach. Accidents happen, and kids get into things they shouldn't.

  • i totally agree with you that guns are very dangerous and there should have been rules for the boy that the gun was off limits. Adrenaline7 is the one who needs to stfu. calling the kid a dumbass is stupid

  • Its every American's right to own a gun for protection and for hunting. You can kill someone with a pencil, does that mean we shouldn't have pencils?

  • kids responsible huh... yeaaaa.

  • its crasy F*** U.S.A

  • Comment removed

  • Typical american crap !! Smokin a joint is bad but we should all be allowed to have firearms and teach our kids when their first born how to shoot !!! BRILLIANT

  • fuck you english muffin. smoking is bad, i hope you get addicted to some bad shit like coke and you OD. guns are fine, dumb kids like this one dont know that pointing a gun in a persons direction is bad. especially when its loaded. so you go ahead and smoke and die and ill keep killing things with my guns, iv been around guns all my life, never had a problem

  • He said joint, which I'm thinking implies he's talking about marijuana, not cocaine.

  • The older boy seems like he may have a different biological father.

  • LOL! He does look different but sometimes genes can do that. :)

  • leave it to the texans

  • Guns should not even be in the house with childrends around. Stupid rednecks!

  • Guns don't need to be banned... honestly... stupid effin parents who don't watch their kids and think that A's on a report card in 4th grade makes them a brilliant babysitters...they...them...need to be banned for God sake.

  • that mom should of took her kids and the father should have it locked up

  • everyone should know how to shoot a gun..definetly not at that age though

  • its a good thing TV shows dont teach kids how to load guns huh?? FUCK THAT!!!! they should not be able to show that kind of crap on TV!!

  • wow. God bless everyone who helped him! thats such a horrible story :((((

  • If his brother had died he would have had to live with that for the rest of his life knowing he killed his brother. Thank God he lived. Poor thing!

  • I bet that kid got beat.

  • omg! r u fuckin kidding me on a 12 gauge shotgun to a little kids arm.

I've even learn that M16 and M9 r not toys in the ARMY.

  • I'm glad I was taught to handle firearms properly from a young age. I'm 25 now and learned the proper way to handle one when I was 7 by my dad, including a 12 gauge shotgun that kicks like a mule.

A gun safe is a great idea, but teaching your kids to not play with firearms works 1000x better.

  • this reminds me of my friend in high school back in magnolia, texas him and his brother were staying home for a week while their parents went out of town on vacation. They had left the boys with one car to drive to school and they would fight over who drove to school. One morning my friend pulled out a shotgun on his brother that was unloaded and was just messing around and pulled the trigger...it turns out the gun was loaded after all and his brother died....

    R.I.P Justin k

  • I didn't like the wife saying "were never having guns again ever" Well if you put locks on and all that saftey crap stuff should not happen.

  • Really shows how stupid she is.

  • Well just put trigger locks on the guns and lock up the ammo. I also noticed that the guy didn't have a gun safe. At least get a gun safe.

  • I think a safe is actually a better choice than trigger locks (you seem to portray it as worse).

  • alot can happen in 20 min

  • at 416 it sounds like he said i'll kill you

  • that is what he said but i don't get it. :S

  • well now the dad doesnt need to lock the gun away after this happened i bet that kid doesnt go any were NEAR that gun

  • its the fucking brothers fault he was playing with the fucking shotgun its all his fault that ass hole if i were that brother that got shot i would shoot that brother

  • that EMT dispatcher- the blonde woman.. has about the prettiest eyes I've ever seen

  • guns are too danerouse, a 367 magnum can blow a persons head off

  • There's no such thing as a 367 magnum.

  • woops mybad, i ment 357, typo

  • It also can't blow a persons head off, but I sure wouldn't like to be hit by anything let alone a .22 hahaha.

  • I agree with the wife there shouldn't be a gun in the house with children especially when there under the bed i am scared of guns and if my husband had one i would make him get rid of it even if he did divorce me

  • he's still a pain in the butt xD

  • they kids should never have played with the gun because they know its dangerous and the parents should keep the gun locked in a safe where the kids can not reach it at all times

  • thats for hunting

  • the parents should not have left these young children alone!

  • i owne a 870 express remington shot gun and others to but i keep my locked in a gun cabinet at all times ...

  • wonder if they his brother drops guilt bombs on him to this day

  • who the fuck shot me in the arm motherfucker? WHO? You! thats right you owe me for life!

  • "Never thought a gun could do so much damage"..obviously didn't know much about firearms..

  • Read your post again. KIDS don't know much about them. How old are you?

  • Kids don't know so much about organs and blood loss.

  • Nope the father gives the oldest kid some big angry scolding talk about what he did just di and locks the the shotgun away for good.

  • they show the happy family playing in the park. yeah right, i bet that kid was grounded for ever

  • There was one segment where a young boy accidently shot his little sister.

  • It was actually one of the boy's friends who accidentally shot his sister.

  • Can you Post That one?

  • The parents are stupid, idiots. Who leaves a gun when kids are in the house and when they know where the gun is.

  • my god i almost cried :{

  • This kid grew up to become the current VP of the United States of America.

  • well hav9k the first thing i have to say to that is thats terrible. but the second thing i have to say is HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA what a great comment

  • oh god i could watch the all of part 1 i was too scared

  • the mother is a jackass

  • leave your gun hidden under the bed. Yeah thats a real good spot!!!

  • LOL the kid said "I never thought a gun could do so much damage.." FWAHAHAHA!

  • some guns, the recoil of it can break your hand if your not careful.

  • the part at 2:17-18 is an excellent example of a returning image.

  • You're right. The ambulance scene at 2:17 would an very good returning image.

  • jesus christ... the wrong end of a 12 gauge had to be scary... good thing they weren't High brass shells or he probably wouldn't be alive.

  • God's great.

  • After the accident the kid talked different for some reason.

  • nice thing to say

"but hes still a pain in the butt" lol

  • Episode 619 is probably has the earliest event dates before it officially aired. Like this one, Child Asthma II, the fourth segment (which is not here). The third one took place in 1993, altough shatner said two years have passed since the incident.

  • Two years isn't that long for Rescue 911. There are some episodes that aired five or six years after the incident. The longest one was "French Skydiver", that one was filmed 17 years after it happened.

  • Yes, but why so long?

  • I guess they just didn't find out about the incident until then.

  • Where's that one on? 418?

  • Yes.

  • Sweet story for the future ,"i shot my brother at point blank with a 12-gauge". XD

  • I still stand firm watchfulstorm....What if when the weapon discharged it went through a window and hit someone on the street? Like maybe your child or mine...The parents in this cases all cases that involve neglect should be held accountable...

  • If someone had been killed it would be a different circumstance, but happening as it did, I don't think anyone would benefit from additional punishment. If someone else had been hurt or killed, then the family of that person may want the parents to go to jail, or if their child had been killed then the state may want to make an example of the parents, but in this case I don't think it would gain anything.

  • What ever happend to this show it was a very good show. Thanks for posting it.

  • Watchfulstorm...Someone has to take responsibility, and that someone should be the parents i.e. Gun owner...I am a gun owner and my children has been taught gun safety from a very young age....How hard is it to go to the store and buy a watermelon? Take it home and get the kids to watch you shoot it...Thus showing the children what a gun can do...So there, as I said the parents should be charged... If anything they should be charged with child neglect and or endangerment.

  • I think having their child shot is a worse punishment than any amount of jail time. They got rid of their guns, it's not like they're still laying around in their house.

  • And who is at fault here???? The parents why was the gun not locked up....They should be charged with the shooting....

  • I don't think they should be charged with the shooting, but they should have had it locked up, or at least talked to them more about the danger of guns when used improperly. Acording to the kid, he didnt even know that guns could hurt people that bad.

  • forget it i know

  • at the ending what episode was that and is it on youtube

  • I don't know the official title, but it's on youtube and I have it listed as "Child asthma II"

  • It's really cool that you could post these educational stuff. It kinda sux that they don't show it on TV anymore

  • Steve must of been scard to death that he hurted his brother that he loves so much!:(

  • Does anyone else remember a similar clip like this where a girl got shot while she was playing on the bed? She was playing with one friend on the bed and another friend was on the floor at the foot of the bed playing with a gun.

  • Yes. It's not up here, but it's "911 Rifle" from Episode 109.

  • That was so gorey. And intense.

And how can you not know that a gun can do that much damage?!

  • How the heck to you accidentally shoot someone?

  • (Noooooooo!!!!!!!!!)

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

  • and how old is this kid??????

  • He had the ammo and the gun far apart, it just comes down to kids being kids. You can't prepare for everything.

  • my question is where was the parents

  • the mom was getting the father from work

  • watch the video again...

  • they shouldn't have had a gun in the first place i can't believe families have guns in their homes, there's no need for it.

  • i think it good to own a gun in a home if its safly in a locked gun cabnet

  • no it's not good there's no reason to have one and it puts you and your family at risk.

  • your putting you family at risk with out one , someone could brake into your home and try to hurt your family

  • ya well what if they break in and kill your family with 'your' gun

  • highly unlikey

  • oh yeah what makes you think that and lets say you shot that intruder you'd have to live with that for the rest of your life

  • i don't know about you, but i wouldn't have a problem shooting someone that breaks into my home threatening to kill me and my family.

  • I don't know about you but i'd figure they're still human and be much happier if they were arrested rather than shot in front of my family

  • If someone is threatening to kill you and your family, you are willing to take the risk that they will be arrested? Who cares about their happiness when they are trying to kill you and your loved ones...

  • Airsoftlamblover, I can think of three Rescue 911 segments off the top of my head where an intruder took the homeowner's gun and used it to threaten or shoot someone who lived in the house.

However NMCtube, I can also think of two segments where person successfully used a gun to protect themself or their family members from intruders.
