i have quit wow forever...6 times by just stopping whenever i wanted. you must destroy all that ties you to the game.

i had sveral 70s my brothers quit at the same time as me 3:00am we destroyed our toons and deleted them a total of 7 70s. i have not gone back to wow... my brothers however... have started on private servers... i am learning japanese and getting a CBS. i dont miss wow... much :P

1. you must burn it out to the point where you hate playing (this is not enough to stop most people)

2. you must have friends to prssure you into stopping.

3. you must DELETE your toons ALL of them.after you have destroyed all gear and sold all items.

4. uninstall wow destroy CDs

5.get a job, do school, learn a language, overload yourself with shit to do to get yoiur mind off it.

I hear you man, but I got so fed up with WoW (I spent so much time getting my chracter to get up to 60 and I still had ten levels to go but then, after I got to 70, I would have just been playing a mediocre and complicated multiplayer game.) In the end, I sold everything that all my characters owned, pooled all the money I could possibly get (which was over 100 gold) and gave it all away to some lucky dude. Then I deleted all of my characters, froze my account, and read a book.
