Its obvious that you didn't even watch the video, and frankly it just seems strange that you would take pot shots at this humble, peaceful man. It must arise from an attention-seeking, negative attitude. Any reasonably open-minded and good natured person can see the wisdom and godliness of this man.
His Holiness is a genuinely kind human being. I have more love for him than I have for most other people on this earth. I was at this event and it was truely amazing. His Holiness has nothing to offer but wisdom and love, and he gives it all to us, every one of us, without exception. I admire him endlessly, he's 76 years old and he continues to work his hardest for world peace. We could all use to be a little bit more like him. Long live His Holiness.

I changed my mind about the peace process. Peace-making isn't linear.
You don't have to make peace with yourself before making peace with your spouse.
You don't have to make peace with your spouse before making peace in your country.
You don't have to make peace in your country before achieving world peace.
It all kind of happens together.

Change in the world comes from within.... So happy that Dalai Lama works so hard to send this message out all over the world. Amazing person! :-) We are lucky to live in these times, to learn from such inspiring individual! He provides us all with the opportunity to grow beyond ourselves.....if we make the effort. Think of the generations before us, that weren't so lucky to hear such things from such a wonderful person. The burden is on us now, to do something with this now; eh? :-)

The way His Holiness answered the boy at the end was totally heartfelt and brilliant. You could feel his empathy for a young 'revolutionary' spirit. I think he saw himself in that boy. What a great soul!

Instead of wasting time evaluating his message we need to ask ourselves where the ministers preaching peace are here in the U.S? This man is touring colleges in the U.S. communicating a life of non=violence and what our ministers preaching? Today is Sunday why don't you all go ask you minister what is on his agenda this week. Then maybe more than one would get off his donation bowl and go to where the help is needed.

His ministry actually costs them money. they do great work in their community and they help anyone who needs it. I don't discount your comments as they sadly are on point about many. However, I have to acknowledge that not all "ministers" do thier thing in the same way.

I always love @DalaiLama talks they are so up lifting and always gives people the tools or mindset on compassion. Which I hope more and more people undertake to improve themselves... its not about religion its about making yourself better inside and then projecting that to your family and friends & community and hopefully people will also change....Thanks again your Holiness for giving these talks :-)
