Yep, He lost the battle against their enemies in a fair duel so he dies.

And then they leave his body there and go? "Fuck ceremonial burial and afterlife stuff and his family, we don't have time for any of this this crap."

Also the plain Indians would often spare their enemies, as in "touch enemy instead of killing him" or purpose.

Yeah, they do actually respect their dead... I guess this film is a peice of shit then. Also, I doubt the indian would've tried to rape her like they said in the movie

@Ownagedante This film is a good story well told and yes they would have raped her. Holness says his father died at the Little Big Horn, that was in 1876 yet the massacre at the end of the film is based upon an incident that took place in 1890. Someone didn't do the history.
