thomas, seriously... you should prolly go back to school man. And yes, guitar strings would hurt much more than professional needles would as the desired sharpness cannot be attained, nor the power or needle stroke. to top it off, I've seen numerous tattoos done with guitar strings that are heavily scarred due to the artist not knowing that multiple needle groupings pack ink much better, so be smart, go to a shop. Good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good!

I got mine out of an RC car, but you can get them anywhere, portable CD players have 2 motors in them, Radioshack sells just the motors, VCR motors work great, but I havent messed with them, Basically anything u can take apart with a motor wld work. and a button works great to hold the string. I just used a round plastic piece that I poked 2 holes in tho
