@katyperry1o1 the killers did a three song murder story starting with a song called Leave The Bourbon on the Shelf, next was Midnight Show and this one is the actual murder, Jenny Was a Friend of Mine. I'm not sure but it's pretty possible the Mr.Brightside is another installment because it says "Coming out of my cage." possibly a jail cell? Idk but there it is!!! :)

Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf was about Jenny cheating on the main character, Midnight Show was about the actual murder, and Jenny Was a Friend of Mine was about the main character being arrested and questioned by the police the following day. There's always been rumors about Mr. Brightside being a fourth installment, but it seems pretty unlikely considering the songs have always been referred to as a trilogy by the band members themselves.

I like the way he's totally changed it. The only real similarity is the lyrics, because it's so much different to the Jenny we know. It wouldn't be right to perform the original without the rest of the band.. That's MARK's bassline, y'know? So it's good that he's changed it. Same with Losing Touch. But I still think the originals are better.
