@Toerme The Model T has a generator, not an alternator. It will actually drive quite happily on battery, but the battery will last longer if it's not used as much. Also, early generators were nowhere near as good as modern alternators. I also prefer running on magneto as it delivers a bit more power than the battery.
@MUSICALGUNNUT45 ... That would be pushing the car to it's absolute limits... I've been up to approx 60km/h, (about 37mph), but not for too long - gotta give people time to admire the car ;)
Great video, scenery looks familiar. Can't wait to go for a ride when its registered! I know you haven't stopped grinning like a cheshire cat since the Model T's arrival
Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Very good video, thank you! :)

...by the way, I guess this car doesn't have an alternator charging the battery? That's why it's important to switch to magneto?

is it posible to change from gasoline motor to electrical motor ?
conscienciatj 4 months ago
@conscienciatj Anything is possible... but I wouldn't want to ruin a piece of motoring history by changing it.

what would its top speed be pls ????? and does it use a lot of fuel ????
LadyTilika 5 months ago in playlist More videos from PremiereDirector
@LadyTilika The top speed would be approx 45mph (60km/h) - that is when it was new!! ... Now, I don't really know.
Fuel economy, again when it was new, would be about 15-20 MPG.
