this is such an amazing ride! It has so many great flips and the Gforces near the end are incredible. On that note, don't ride it when you have to pee..bad idea!

this is also one of my favourite rides!!!!! The fast twists and inverts make this ride f**kin awesome!!! The generic "tall" coasters are boring cuz its all build-up to the climax as u get pulled up.........and the rush doesnt last the whole ride as it does on this one....(wink)..and i love not knowing where the h*ll I am!!!!

Call me crazy, but some how I actually enjoyed Batman (SFGAm's) better than Raptor.... I liked the rapid fire, compactness. Sure, it's a cl.... wait... what am I doing? I ride coasters to have fun, not to compare them.......... Raptor was hella fun :)

@demilovatofan998 You can ride it. Millenium Force is the 2nd tallest in the park after Top Thrill Dragster. You think you can ride Millenium Force but not Raptor? I just finished looking it up, and you have to be 4' 6" to ride it. You are lucky. I rode it and its AWSOME!

I think I've been on the Rap 30 + times. It's still a fav. I love the "Cobra roll".

Cedar point has a way of making history. They did with this as well as Mean Streak, Mellinium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, and well... ok a lot of rides.

@rappergirl44 haha dude the first time i was in line. i was like wtf. why am i doing this. and since i live in michigan i rarley come to cedar point so i have to ride every ride i can and since this is the first ride you see when you walk in the wait is long. so while you wait your stomache will turn and get queezy just waiting in line. but that will all go away once your butt is on the seat and you take off, on such a kick butt ride. Dont be scared cause when you get off you be so happy(:

when the ride really starts there's no big drop.

the entire ride is some small loops and twisty turns.

i goes fast but not like blow ur lips back fast.

the speed doesnt really hav much affect cuz its one of those coaster that ur legs hang from...so ya when u get off you will be like that was awesome! :)

I loved this ride, rode front row. its really fast, but incredibly smooth, one of the smoothest rides ive ever been on. that last corkscrew at the end before the helix really fooled me. Overall, i'd say it was my 4th favorite behind dragster, millenium, and maverick.

First time I rode this (the year it debuted), it was revolutionary. I remember coming out of that second loop and seeing the track twist in front of me and I had enough time to think "what the-?" and then I was being flung in the tightest corkscrew I had ever experienced and then a quick flip, a twist, another roll... It was awesome. I remember them saying we had to take off our sandals and we were ticked, but when it was over we understood. And loved it! Still one of my favorite rides.

Most parks in the US close after Halloween, but in Florida & Southern California they stay open. There's also Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America in Minnesota as well as Adventuredome in Las Vegas, which are indoor parks that stay open year round.

And he isn't far from the truth. Really, its all perspective on which coaster is the best (for me, its X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain), but on just about every every amusement park poll, award, etc., you'll find that they are pretty much given to the parks and coasters in America.

Don't dis Nemesis. It's a great invert (as is Black Mamba), but the best B&M invert in the world has got to be Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Williamsburg IMO.

This isn't a B&M hyper coaster, it's a B&M invert & there's no way it's better than the Batman clones. There are a lot of B&M inverts that are better than Raptor: Alpengeist, Afterburn, Talon & Montu in the U.S. and Nemesis & Black Mamba in Europe all spring to mind. I even like Great Beat at Hersheypark better.

Typo, I know it's an invert. And how is it not better than the BTR clones? They may be compact and intense but raptor has way better elements, and is much longer. And that last helix is INTENSE. I wouldn't label it as "not the best invert", it deserves better than that. I know there are better Bolliger & Mabillard inverts, but I'd say this is at least in the top 10.

I've head headbanging moments on various batman clones. You must have something against Cedar Point. The only rough coaster there is the Mean Streak.

Also those other coaster you named came after Raptor, so they were built to top it.

Raptor paved the way for Alpengeist, Talon, and Montu. This was the first of its kind to have the cobra roll, height, and speed.
