  • Thee "R E A L" A v a t a r G r o v e in Port Renfrew. BC has trees just like this!

    Tall Tree Festival!

    \m/

  • I don't know about you guys but when it comes down to it its nice to be at peace with everyone, but when it comes down to the survival of my on species I would choose my own side rather than betray my own species and send "them back to their dying planet" as Jake puts it but he forgets it is his planet to and he is just as wrong to allow that to happen as the humans are wrong for what they are doing on the planet so their is no good or evil but grey in this movie

  • LOL rather liv amognst somthin than against it

  • Jake Sully is such a jerk. He lived with the Na'vi for three whole months, and he did not tell them even ONCE about the human coporation's plans of mining under their village. A whole war was started because the so called "hero" failed horribly at diplomacy.

Other than that, very nice video. Twas fun to watch! :)

  • @MrJaffa2015 Yes, that's very correct.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=ZInTvqog_Yk

  • All of you how think the human is the good guys you're all wrong, I would never be able to destroy someones else home.

It wouldnt be so fun if they did that to us right?

  • Humanity FTW

  • WHY MUSIC??!

  • Chapeau for .... AVATAR the movie,

the music and your mix ...

  • 00:40 what is the music?

  • The vilian of this movie would be Jake. Totaly failed as negotiator which resulted in unececary fighting. Not to mention led the na'vi on a suicide mision.Just let the humans get their rocks and then they leave.

If we had a ranking it would be like this.

1 place goes to the animals

2 place goes to the humans

and of corse the last place goes to the na'vi because their are rather retarded.Animals can do abetter job and without a human leading them their quite useless.

  • @Shadowmaster888 What are you talking about?!? the navi beat the humans forever at the battle for pandora\, like how the indians beat the west forever at custers last stand

  • humans r such a curse on this universe... we destroy everything we lay a hand on... so pathetic. i hope an asteroid comes nd kill us all. then the earth can regenerate peacefully

  • @garizable if you hate humans you should kill yourself

  • @TheAndron55 i will try.....

  • @garizable If you think what us humans do is wrong then instead of whining and killing yourself try to make a bloody change!

  • @fenrirtwo ok

  • @fenrirtwo Not to interupt your talk with @garizable but he's right.Humans can't stop doing horrible stuff. We do bad things not only to the world but us also. Some people will be murders others could be cannables with out ever thinking what could happen.

  • They should have killed all those blue bastards when they attacked the big tree village at first with incenerators

  • who in their right minds would sit thrue this clap trap load of rubbish

  • i would rather be an avatar over a human

  • @JeMzZ360 I think you meant to say ud rather be a na'vi than a human. An avatar is a genetically engineered body.

  • Humanity first, dont have compassion with alien species, its our survival

  • HUMANS RULE!!!!!!!!

  • @Tiefighterr

(Throws Pandora atmosphere @ you) Not on THIS planet, you don't! You suffocate! We win! :D

  • @Tiefighterr Humans can have masks and helmets a little smell wont kill us

  • @Tiefighterr aynga skxawng

  • @LeonSKennedyUNP

and I celebrate every marine who dies in iraq for loosing his worthless life for irrelevant reasons while I live a great life in America!

  • @hangfire0352 lol ooh rah

  • Beautiful choice of soundtrack music.

  • During this movie I couldn't help but facepalm. The entire clan is at risk of being blown into bits and Jake chooses to spend his last day humping Neytiri instead of talking with them.

    Typical boy....

  • why is it that all science fiction helicopters sound like vietnam era apache choppers?

  • Yea in a situation like this I will most definitely help the RDA because

One: because Governments are buying the unobtainium from them

and that means the United States, so never I would betray my own county

If it was being invaded or invading I am with the U.S. all the way

Rest in peace SecOp troopers you did good, very brave soldiers and of course Semper Fidelis Colonel Quaritch you are a excellent soldier

  • @LeonSKennedyUNP loyalty to a country no matter what is heartless. are you forgetting the USA was founded on disloyalty? hmmm

  • @LeonSKennedyUNP Ahh so you are a pawn? I'm not for all those conspiracy theories but the U.S. isn't perfect, and they are most definitely not always right. Be careful when you judge things black and white, because eventually your government will do something horrendous and you will support it... remember Nazi Germany? I bet all the Germans thought "I will never betray my country; I'm in all the way".

Separate point, colonization throughout history is ALWAYS atrocious.

    Cheers

  • @SuperBoomstick dude, the only type of people I need to worry about are liberals, liberals are like hollywood and obama and his damn hippy administration. Look I know that was uncalled for but honestly though I believe in a conservative... a american Republican Government.

Conservatives were the ones who wanted to expand when the Native Americans were here, and guess what the U.S. Calvary is respected and honored by people like us, like the Military, police, you name it.

    Just liberals were piss.

  • why this reminds me soo much of starcraft? lol

  • @CidCaldensfey I chose survival/war over death through resource depletion...

  • @imagoodboy11 were humans. weve been through alot of shit. well find a way.

  • @CidCaldensfey Actually the Alpha centuari system is almost 5 light years away

  • Alright, anyone who would never side with some xeno scum against their human bretheren, thumbs up!

If we dont stand together forever, humanity is doomed, damn the traitors.

  • @lox12 dude are you in drugs?

  • @scagish Yea

  • @scagish lol where is drugs? Never heard of that city before.

  • @lox12 Your post reminds me of Warhammer 40k....lol

  • dang i really wanted to see ewya in this movie they needed to mention more of her...its all i could think about... :P lol

  • its a fucking movie you fucking nerds jeez

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 Only because they don't engage in trade. Humans have engaged in trade for more than 100,000 years. Money is used as a medium of exchange to get what you need to survive. Little different from going out to hunt in concept. Lack of money works well for them only because of their limited needs and low population.

  • @Cordar Human needs are low, but they don't know that. The population, by the way, is not.

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 Thats a matter of perspective. Sure their planet is in good condition but so was Earth when we were using bow and arrows and riding horseback. They are primitive Tribals that havent had even 1 industrial revolution yet. So no eletric power, no cars, no jets, no ships. Its hard to polute when you havent advanced past ragged ass spirituals and grass huts.

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 They say during the movie that its a powerful super-conductor so its probably used in alot of the higher tech equipment. And even if it is about the money, the status of Earth in Avatar suggests that we need all the new income we can get, and money backed by "Gold" -the unobtainium- is alot less likely to cause a crash and depression.

  • @CrashB111

From what the script, or earlier scripts suggested, the current state of Earth is that there are massive power requirements in order to maintain food production and similar things akin to that. Unobtanium is the solution as it can be used for energy production let alone space colonization, as the earlier ISV fleet was composed of matter/anti-matter propulsion as opposed to the new unobtanium anti-gravity engines.

  • @CidCaldensfey Actually, the current ISV's still use matter/anti-matter propulsion. The former ships were simply far less efficient since the cold superconductors used before required much more massive radiators than the newer onces that use Unobtanium. It allowed the newer ISV's to carry a greater amount of cargo and people.

  • tbh i dont really understand why this movie is a proof that racism doesnt work...this kinda the opposite this movie prooves that 2 different kind of people,creatures,...cant live with eachother.

  • This was an excellent movie. Taught valuable lessons about how our society is overwhelmed by racism and greed.

  • @brebreheartsjb jake, Norm, Trudy, neytiri and grace are my favs as well. So far I felt sorry for Grace's death. But as for the Navi they won and it inspires me to write myself a fantasy story where there is a war such as this.

    GO NAVI GO!!!

  • @LatiosnLatias02 Hello Copyright infringment.

  • avatar is just a bunch of 6 foot smurfs and explosions i mean COME ON!

  • caca

  • In Avatar 2 i expect the na'vi much more brutal against the humans. Like no mercy. for example a na'vi dude like Jake or someone sneaks behind a human and stabs him through hi back out the black stickingout of his stomach. Avatar is intended for more EPICNESS!!!!!W00T1

  • @Valkyrie160 yeah i agree but there were some brutal deaths

  • Best epic music EVER.

  • If the humans continued the war after they lost the battle then the avatars would have lost.

  • they need Iron Man to help them out, he will get the job done

  • stop talking about nipples really.....you guys are pervs for talking about that stuff..

  • ppl dwelling on nipple shots, its a fucking nipple, not porn...

  • who noticed avatar is kinda like the same stroy as Pocahontas i mean pay close attention watch both movies and you will see something similar

  • @jasincl It's also Dances with Wolves. Or, Pocahontas meets Fern and Gully.

  • @BoydTheMilkmanX

What about Man Called Horse or Princess Mononoke or Nausicaa or heavy Metal?

  • nice video dude! ;)

    I´m a big fan of Avatar :P

  • Reminds me how sad i was when that emo Na'vi girl was not killed by Quaritch ... Almost made me cry.

  • MAN ITS RLLY COOL

  • if pandora air is toxic to a human would earth air be harmful for a navi?

  • @steppyish No, if you hadnt of noticed the Na'vi had huge chest cavities, to hold HUGE lungs. They would probably over ride us if they had guns and such considering they would be better equiped. If the Na'vi in this movie had the same technology as the humans they would have obliderated the humans.

  • @kloroxbleech what has that to do with my question?

  • @steppyish You asked if our air would have being volitile to the Na'Vi. I was answering your question.

  • @kloroxbleech actually they are tribal creature because our brain is better =p

  • @kloroxbleech Actually, considering that food have never been as plentiful on Earth as it does on Pandora. They would actually fare worse. Their big bodies require alot more energy to function well. So if they ended up fighting on Earth, they'd end up starving. As said by an army leader once, an army moves on it's belly.

Also, it is technology that the Na'vi will never be able to attain by themselves, since Eywa makes sure they stay at the stone age.

  • I really wish that I could be a Na'vi...

  • @DirtRebels

    and dont wear clothes

  • the human population revolves around crime sins and destuction

  • i enjoyed the part where they fuckd the marines, oh wait, i am a marine, lol!

  • Star wars + Matrix + War of Worlds + RoboCop + Mulan = AVATAR!! jajaja.

  • I Salute you Colonel! You fought for Humanity and the people! If I could right now, I would go to pandora and give you a warriors grave! But don't worry... Humanity doesnt give up so easily... HEAR THAT NAVI! AN ENTIRE HUMAN MILITARY FLEET ON YOUR DOOR STEP!

  • @jamesdav77 you make it sound like your not human! i shall find you cut you to see what color you bleed!

  • @jamesdav77 Hell yeah!

  • @jamesdav77 and chuck norris hehehehe NOTHING BEATS NORRIS! NOOTHING!!!!!!!!!!

  • -All with the sole intention of collecting a useless rock with a childish name to substitute as gold. Hell, this 'unobtanium' isnt even shiney. *cough -bullshit- cough*

  • what's the first song? what is it name?

  • Go humans, kill those blue monkey mother fuckers >:D

  • I suppose my only problem with these kind of movies is simple, really. I dont like it when the bad guys are bad for no reason.

In the movie gladiator, for instance, the bad guy is bad because he desires control and revenge. Simple, yet efficient.

In successful failures like 'Avatar' or 'Narnia 2: Prince Caspian', the bad guys are bad for no legit reason. Lacks depth to the story, it does.

  • @walkertexasranger77 Eh, Quaritch was actually the only character in this movie that I liked. There are people in this world who hate another race for no specific reason. Look at Hitler. Quaritch hated the Na'vi. You ever see District 9? The villain there is pretty good too and he hated the aliens for no specific reason, he was just sadistic.

  • @gruntora

He did get a pretty cool scare on his first day there..maybe it has something to do with him hating them anyways he was my favourite character to. He was such a badass.

  • @KingoftheGods123 Yup. Bona fide badass. Although I still think that as far as "best movie villain of 2009" goes he's probably third place behind Colonel Venter from District 9 and Colonel Landa from Inglorious Bastards.

  • @walkertexasranger77 well i've heard that they are maing a sequeal to this and hopefully you should uncover why the humans are bad

  • @walkertexasranger77 Yeah. Toy Story 3 explains why Lotso was a bad guy

  • This movie was pretty good. Although I believe that they could've come up with a far better name for the material than UnObtanium. Seriously, that's probably the most unoriginal thing I have ever heard.

  • i saw the movie it is the best movie ever

  • @walkertexasranger77: Unobtanium...i would think the name would be the biggest hint. Of course humans would find a resource they want/need, and of course it would be on foreign soil, and of course we would resort to force to get it.

Honestly, i was with Quaritch as well. the character was just awesome. however, when it came to the epic battle in the end, i was cheering on Toruk the entire time. how could you not cheer for a massive bird that can take out a Scorpion Chopper on its own.

  • @ospire17

It still doesnt explain why the unobtanium is valuable?

Understandable if it was like a renewable energy source, but it isnt. As far as the movie explained, its a shiney rock.

  • This movie is for hippies.

Plus, it never explained why the humans were on Pandora.

What made the unobtanium so valuable?

  • @walkertexasranger77 I think they said that it would sell for a lot of money on the stock market.

It's really valuable for the same reason why gold is valuable in today's world. The rarer it is, the more money you can make selling it.

  • @gruntora

Still rather hard to believe a human organisation would sacrifice extra terrestrial life for a rare but useless mineral.

  • @walkertexasranger77 What do you thing gold is?

  • @gruntora

useless mineral that people kill each other for???

  • @walkertexasranger77 Again, you just described gold. Back in the gold of '49, some people figured they could just let somebody else dig up the gold and then kill that person eliminating the hard part.

  • @gruntora

So the hundreds of years in human evolution, from the gold rush days to advanced space travel, aparantly humanity is still as simple minded as it was in the 1800s?

So now all of a sudden the humans discover a habitable planet, go through the undoubtably expensive procedures of reaching it, and entrust an obviously trigger happy villain to annihilate an extra terrrestrial ecosystem.

Its not that difficult to realize the bullshit in the plot of this movie.

  • @walkertexasranger77 It's not simple-mindedness. It's human nature of people to be greedy. That's the honest truth.

My main problem with this movie isn't the plot, it's how dragged-on it is. Seriously the whole middle of the movie (when Jake is learning to become a Na'vi) is dragged on for so goddamn long.

  • @gruntora Perhaps our opinions differ.

I like to think realistic. And i dont believe humans would sacrifice a rare oppertunity of foreign life in the basis of, indeed, simple-minded greed. Thats the honest truth.

But i suppose its just a movie, not like it will ever happen that way. I just wish it wasnt so anti-military. At least, thats what i perceived it as.

  • Heil humans!

  • A great movie that shows the true nature of humans.

  • I wonder how many thumbs down I will get if I say honestly:

    I sided with Colonel Quaritch.

It's just the winning side. Maybe not shown in the movie, but a bunch of savages can't stand to an army of professionals. Besides, I want that 'unobtainium'. 20 mil a kilo!

Next time the RDA gets someone to infiltrate the natives, how about they get one that WON'T get into a relationship and ditch his comrades.

  • @SaturnVII keep that to yourself next time.

  • @SaturnVII id fuck the girl AND and betray the na'vi, and give intel. sounds good ye?

  • we humans have destoryed this earth the nature. we humans are evil!!

  • avatar was okay but the storyline was like pochahontus (srry if mispelled =)

  • A really horrible movie.

  • @walkertexasranger77 go dunk your head in a toilet bowl

  • this reminds me of rome's war with Gaul, only that the gauls wins.

  • ok at the credit's part, from 2:53 to 3:16, what is that music called? It is sooo beautiful! This movie really shows what bastards humans can be, but also that some can make a difference. It is a wonderful, inspiring movie that s also soo awesome! In the movie, that part when the tree falls down on the Omaticaya people, it reminds me when -the same director- Titanic falls down after breaking and lands on all the people in the water. Please give me a thumbs up if you love AVATAR!

  • @jbb556 too bad im only first

  • Global warming is made up.

  • @yootubeisforfags all global warming is is a climate change bit obvious but the earth has been through loads of em and animals may die through climate change but its nature like that dire wolf or watever it apprantley died because of the climate change the world was going through

  • @gekodude1 I've read what I could on it and I must say, it's pretty inconclusive. I'm sure the planet goes through natural stages of climate and temperature shift...but nothing that's going to make the human race extinct in 10 years.

  • exacly right!! we would destroy the whole world....

  • reminds me of how hard we are destroying nature <.<

  • Nature is fully capable of destroying itself a thousand times more efficient than all Humans combined can ever do though.

  • @SpeedDaMusicUp your right but how much you tell peapole they wont listen and keep using energy for nothing, i know it is sad...>.>

  • @SpeedDaMusicUp You do realize though, nature is doomed regardless.

If human pollution doesnt destroy nature, then human nuclear weaponry will. If that doesnt destroy nature, then human overpopulation will. If that doesnt destroy nature, then the expiration date on our sun will.

  • @SpeedDaMusicUp fuck of you stupid tree hugger.

  • @zackgonnasurvivenwo woow woow, big words behind your fking computer... cmon ppl aplause *clap* *clap*

  • Yeah, zack's a big keyboard warrior and troll.

  • @SpeedDaMusicUp well...thats what you fucks are ya know?

  • @zackgonnasurvivenwo im not the one who started if you shut your damn mouth everything is fine or did you just searched for some attention? i didnt do anything

  • @zackgonnasurvivenwo *clap* *clap* What you said didn't even make sense but keep trying and you'll get it right sweetie!

  • @HubbaBubba776 what was not making sense? i called someone a stupi tree hugger. how did that not make sense?

  • @zackgonnasurvivenwo Because you said 'fuck of' ... that doesn't make sense. And what is 'stupi'?

  • @SpeedDaMusicUp Yeah, it's hard work killing the world. Don't worry; we're getting better at it! :)

  • @SpeedDaMusicUp lol at the textbook left wing agenda

  • @SpeedDaMusicUp i think that was the point of the movie

  • @xanthegreat1 yea they told me

  • @xanthegreat1 It may have been the point, but it was really Na'vi biased. Boohoo that a few tribals should die for the greater good of Humanity, we advanced beyond sticks and stones and we needed the resources they had. Probably could have been gained with more finnese than they showed admittedly. Though I do expect in Avatar 2 we will see Humanity strike its revenge as the Blue Hippies may triumph for a day, but against a race that will nuke you from orbit there is no victory.

  • @CrashB111 I agree, their victory was as much a victory as the Indians had at Little Big Horn, look what happened later..... The whole of Humanity would comeback with it's exponentially superior technology along with how many hundred of years of experience in fighting wars and wipe the floor with the Na'vi. But I doubt that would happen with James Cameron, he hates humanity as a whole

  • Neytiri nipple slip.

    1:46

  • i dont see it? which tit?

  • There are nipple slips all through the movie. Grow up, nothing special.

  • @elacruisay11 Nipple slips? what do you mean by this? o.o

  • @yunafantasy25 Its when you see a little bit of the nipple.

  • @elacruisay11 ohhh.......... :D

    XD

  • I've watched the movie its so awesome!

  • kk I didnt lol I love this movie

  • u got 2000 veiws and 3 comments weird

  • okay!

  • Don't forget to leave me comments!
