Its something the InfinityWard CO. forgot to change so u can still do that but very unlikely.What it does is when it explodes and hes just about to defuse it about i say a millimeter it will set the bomb off and will count as points for each team or just 2 on 1. Its crazy. BTW its not 5.5 its 4.8 like say 1 and then defuse it should work. We do it alot lol :D

if you start defusing the bomb at exactly 5.5 seconds left this will happen, as it takes 0.5 seconds to pick the bomb up, so its all about timing, its funny as hell though, happened to me and some friends before when the score was 3-3, 4-4 final score ftw.

I can explain what happened in the last clip, you see after the bomb timer runs out theres a delay of about 0.3 seconds before the bomb actually explodes, this was enough time for your opponent to defuse the bomb, but because the bomb timer had "run out" it exploded just as he finished defusing the bomb, ive explained it =]. this has happened to me many times, best thing to do it just ignore it, its a one in a million chance that it will ever be that close again.

Last clip thing happened to me once, we were winning 1-0 then it suddenly went to 2-1 to them when they won a round, and then it didnt even go to half time at 2-1. They won another round and it went 3-1 to them and then it went halftime. And then we got back to 3-3 and it didn't even go to overtime. I got very confused :S

a combination of 2 rare events happened, both ive seen 10 or s times.

1st- if you defuse it at exactly 5 seconds the bomb can blow up and be defused at the same time giving the defuser the round win

2. sometimes it gives a team 2 wins for 1 round
