This man is a wretched human being he has time and time again take part in hate speech for the sole purpose creating hate which he then turns around and files a section 13 complaint and receives monetary prizes for winning complaints against those who he entrapped and knowingly participated hate mongering with.

@resplen1 You are an absolute idiot. Where is your proof? Time and time again these stupid allegations - and that's all they are - have been disproven. Warman made a number of complaints against hate mongers and those complaints were heard by a Tribunal. Some were upheld and good for Warman in stopping that hate being spread. When a cop buys drugs as evidence, what do you say about it? Are you outraged about "entrapment". Admittedly, this is not a perfect analogy.

@xeron123456 however if you switch it to be appropriate to where the cop is selling drugs to catch people who buy drugs and the cop is given a bonus for however many drug user he arrests by doing this then your analogy fits but is still flawed because as I pointed out it is morally irresponsible to stop something by doing that which you wish to stop!

@xeron123456 contd.. fired by a private security company because they didn't want the bad publicity of having a KKK boss installing house alarms and collecting personal data. Same with Cobb. He worked in a call center and was fired because the center didn't want the publicity of having him collect personal data soliciting for donations for non-profits. There is a cost for spreading hate. They should have gone to jail and Cobb might still yet. At least he is gone from Canada.

@Statismisbad It is just an academic debate, then sure debate it. If it is someone issuing threats against you just because of your skin colour, religion or, descent, then that's a different matter. Can you legitimize someone poisoning the minds of children with hate. No, of course not. We are talking about unjustified hate because of some characteristic that is incidental to your humanity. No one should be allowed to spread that kind of hate. Its crazy to even contemplate it.

Statismisbad: you can't have it both ways. Either you support unlimited free speech, i.e., no libel laws, no incitement, etc., or you support limitations to protect the greater good. We do support using every law that will protect everyone. You are right: racists should be prosecuted for incitement and jailed. Freedom's are not absolute as I tell my children.

This never works in practice. Say what you will, but simple empiricism points to the fact that hate groups are abusive in nature towards their targets and run the risk of snaring gullible converts that serve to help draw out their prosecution. The place to discuss the tenets of their beliefs is an academic setting, before it ever reaches the wishful thinking of the public.

What bollocks, this is utter nonsense, who is this bloke and why not defend free speech and expose those who harbour racist ideals and debate them in the open instead of jail them? And furthermore why not use existing traditional laws such as incitement to rile the crowd and so on.
