Hi, it Sounds really nice. what brand is the cam or who makes it? and do you have the part number to it? so i can see the specs on the cam? also curious on the lobe separtion. Also what compression ratio do you have in it? it sounds really good, thanks very much
I like the grill like that. It's black so you know the car's packing something good under the hood, but you don't exactly know what. It's pretty sinister.
actually i wouldnt mind having a small block 350 cause u can make them put out a lot of horsies as well. and it might be a super sport, cause u can see theres no windows in the car so i'm thinking their in the middle of redoing it.
actually u can make a small block put out more than the 396 in that car, but yeah if i did have that car i would rather have the big block!!! it is neater!!!
Hey 70machwonder you sound pretty tough hiding behind that computer of yours, where are you from?? Why dont you man up and race me sometime if you think you can "blow the doors off this noisy rust bucket"
Well I missed out then, I test drove a fine ass white 69 mach with a 351W, back in 82 or so, it ran nice, but it was gutless, I assumed they all were, guess i was wrong, it had that FMX trans everyone warned me about, Nice talking to you man, nice to be able to have differences and still agree on some points...
I did hear that, a lot of the 5.0 blocks cant take the stress from turbocharging and such, so they go to 351 windsor based blocks, I was more meaning the stocker plain jane versions from the early 70's
Actually I agree 100%, I'm actually getting flamed on another post, because I said Clevelands were iincredible freaking engines, with those heads, its unreal the performance you can get out orf them, I always hated that weak ass windsor in the 69/70 machs, 302's ran better... My Bud had a 70 or 71 gran torino GT with the Cleveland, it was incredible from 60mph to 120, but then again, it was a heavy ass car, so nope, im on your side 100%
you must have a windsor in your Mach 1, those were weak ass boat engines, didnt have much of a lope to them. I like the grille of the 67, and the tail of a 66, too bad they didnt make one like that. How does a cam work overtime at idle? LOL
hahah looks just like my budy bradys car
