You damage yourself more with one shot of alcohol than smoking an e-cig for a week. the actual equivalent for how an e-cig affects you, is having a cup of coffee. @iancius you're an idiot its not actually the battery that you smoke the battery heats up the nicotine which than mixes with the hot water vapour and it gets inhaled, the only thing that could do any harm is the nicotine.

Also, we are talking about electronic cigarettes here, not real ones. There are also energy drinks that contain 2 - 3 times the caffeine as a cup of coffee, sometimes even more. And like I said before, caffeine damages your kidneys too. I think you just didn't realize how similar the two are.

A fatal dose of nicotine is 60 mg, but one cig only yields about 1mg of nicotine. That is 1/60th of a fatal dose. A fatal dose of caffeine is 10000mg and a cup of coffee contains 150 to 200mg. Using 175mg gives about 1/57th of a fatal dose. So tell me again how nicotine is not comparable to caffeine? You're assuming I was talking about you BTW.

You guys are all paying way too much!! Go to any 7/11 store, yes, the gas station lol. Seven 11 ...they have a brand there called N-Joy, includes a charger, 2 filters, and a battery, and they come in regular flavor and menthol flavor too. $20!! and a 5 cartridge/filter pack is $20 when you need more, and they last SO long! Definitely try those out ;)

You can use these Electronic Cigarettes in any courtroom, and the Judge can't do a damn thing to stop you. If the Judge tries to stop you, all you have to do is tell him that you are not actually "smoking", and then continue to puff away. I agree, first it feels a bit strange, but after smoking the e cigarette for a couple of weeks, you don't want to smoke tobacco anymore.
By far the least painful way to quit smoking. Feels similar to real cigarettes, so it's easy.
i got mine for $69 online from Chase e cigarettes. I was doubtful at first also, but thought I might too give it a go as it was not too expensive compared to other ways to help quit.
i got mine from trust me it is worth it.

IT's not the people that get the juice it's the suppliers that are doing wrong and I will show it.

Nobody is ever going to drink 57 cups of coffee in a short enough amount of time to cause any toxic effects. And some cigs yield 2 or 3 mg of nicotine, which means that 60 mg can be reached after one pack. And not all smokers limit themselves to one pack per day. Even if they don't kill themselves with the nicotine alone, it'll certainly be very damaging.

Also, we are talking about electronic cigarettes here, not real ones. There are also energy drinks that contain 2 - 3 times the caffeine as a cup of coffee, sometimes even more. And like I said before, caffeine damages your kidneys too. I think you just didn't realize how similar the two are.

What you have to remember is, some people literally cannot give up, they find it so hard, stressful, and you can even suffer heart failure due to the stress of trying to do without a normal cig, these simply replace the real cig, they are not harmful, as apart from the Pharmaceutical nicotine, the rest of the ingredients in the liquids are food grade and are in most food products.
getting kids smoking is also rubbish, most kids start because they feel its a status symbol

Now no more cleaning nasty ash trays, no more fears of burning the place down falling asleep, no yellowing of the fingernails, no obnoxious odors in clothes,hair, etc. or the inconvenience of having to go outside anywhere. I can watch my ballgame or whatever at the same time, I can smoke just about anywhere (...even in a hospital around all those canisters of oxygen!) I swear, whoever invented this should indeed get the Nobel Peace prize. This is brilliant in more ways than one.

Just received my first e-cigarette and I could not be more pleased. I had only smoked for a short while, however every now and then I still get a craving. My kidneys failed and the doctor told me no more smoking. But for someone who thoroughly enjoyed it, its like being told "no more chocolate" (which he also told me) but now with the electric cigarette, I can retain both vices in one (filters come in various flavors).

@coyclown A friendly tip: Nicotine is the component of a cigarette that does damage to your kidneys. Nicotine is the main ingredient in e-cigs. So switching to e-cigs isn't helping you one bit. Getting off regular cigs isn't enough... you've got to kick your nicotine addiction.

They both can also cause dizziness, nausea, increased blood pressure, increase your chances to get breast cancer, irritability, restlessness, and can cause insulin resistance. A fatal dose of nicotine is 60 mg, but one cig only yields about 1mg of nicotine. That is 1/60th of a fatal dose. A fatal dose of caffeine is 10000mg and a cup of coffee contains 150 to 200mg. Using 175mg gives about 1/57th of a fatal dose. So tell me again how nicotine is not comparable to caffeine? You're assuming I was talking about you BTW.

The e-cigarette has been a tremendous lifesaver for me, no longer do I stink, wake up hacking up phlegm, and all the other nastyness, I now pay 10-15 bucks a month tops on nicotine and am healthier than I have been in years. The e cig is a miracle to people all over the world and has caused millions of dollars that would have gone to tobacco saved as well as people's health!
