  • Fascinating. Thank you for posting. I've just begun to learn about the Socratic Method. I like the impromptu nature of the dialogue. That is a great way to see where the participants are willing to go. From this video (and possible editing) it seems that this method of teaching could also lend it self to be in favor of students who are by nature more vocal.Which could definitely taint the direction of the conversation and create a false impression for what the group believes.When do u intervene?

  • This is awesome! This is a great way for classes to dicuss various topics - we do this at my highschool too! =)

  • @Rozyonnie Give them a break, they're teenagers! And we teachers must start from something, don't you think? Who knows if in two-years time these kids will become articulate as long as the teacher continues working like this
