Does anybody have the full episode of whammy with these three contestants. I know James won but I want to see the whole episode with these three in the larson games II.
RIP Peter! I loved watching you on the original PYL and should have hosted this one.
Todd was a good host and it should have lasted longer than it did.
If you watched on GSN Big Buck The Press Your Luck Scandal if Michael Larson were still alive and tried to master the patterns on this he couldn't. It is all random done with a computer.
Yes....it was actually my Birthday...March 12, 2006. He was doing a delivery with a rescue mission off the coast of California I believe, when he had to turn his plane around to head back for a problem, the plane crashed, and both he and his wife were killed. Great game-show host...doesn't get enough credit like Trebek, Clark, Sajak, Martindale, Barker and others.
I agree. I personally think it should have lasted longer than 3 years, it was better than that. I'm glad a lot of people still remember it. I first started watching when I was in Pre-K. My mother used to get me ready for noon school, and she left it on CBS before soaps came on, so I would just watch as I got ready for school. It was the same with the Price is Right.

I still miss Peter Tomarken; he was a one-of-a-kind personality. And I still have to believe that Todd Newton should become the new host of "The Price Is Right".
Todd Newton is a dick! I think that Bill Bowden made a BIG mistake in not hiring Peter to host the show.. The old man must have been on dope when Todd was hired...
Exactly one year ago today March 13, we lost Peter. Peter, I still miss you to this day. How I wish I could bring you back. Thanks for the memories Peter.
Sadly, this was Peter's last television appearance. Peter was killed in a plane crash with his wife on March 13, 2006. We will always remember you, Peter.
Why is this video 9 hours long?

this is why it is called the "larson rematch" episode
smashwhammy 3 years ago
@smashwhammy Because it's Paul Michael Larson's brother James Larson playing, alongside Ed and Janie from the infamous 1984 episode.

I wish they chose Peter over Todd cause Todd does suck at hosting Whammy...its why I stopped watching.
oDGuardian 4 years ago 4
i don't think todd sucked at it, but i'll agree that he was nowhere near as good as the original host Peter Tomarken
