Jawadad802 suggests Israel evacuate their city Sderot rather than attack Gaza. I think that is exactly what Hamas wants--to make Israel uninhabitable.  Should any country whose citizens are under attack from across a border accept the attacks and simply give up their land? I can't imagine anyone wanting their own country to do that--only someone else's. I think Jawadad is not talking sense.

Not quite, what i'm suggesting is that Israel is using the inhabitants of Sderot to provoke Hamas. Using them as human shields to justify slaugtering 1300 Palestinians and once again destroying all infrastructure of the people they oppress. the people of sderot provoke hamas? how?by living? as for the crossing, at the begining they were open but already after 3 days from the cease fire 7 months ago the palestinians resumed firing rockets and didnt stoped every since, sure they had some days they decided not to fire just like there were days israel opened the crossings.

If the blokkade is only to prevent weapons getting in, and the tunnels in Gaza are used for getting weapons in explain me (the tunels exist already longer then 6 months) to me how only 7 Israeli's died??? because Hamas has such a huge weaponsstorage facility????right. Explain to me why fuel is also blokkaded? Does hamas have armoured cars tanks, helicopters , jets, destroyers???? So why cut off fuel if not to strangle Gaza, to make sure it will never outgrow its status of refugee camp???

and by the way... the Gaza-Egypt crossing is not Israels' to close....neither is the Mediteranian... everything further then 12' off shore is international waters... since israel is always under danger of attack every house got a armored room, the reason for low israeli casualties is because israel prepeared for rocket attacks for decades now. if we didnt had those armored shelters the israeli casualties would be much higher.

as for fuel, you know that those rockets are not catapulted into the air right?

People in Sderot are no more responsible for border closing than those in any other city. You are suggesting they move out because of rocket attacks. Question--why is the border to Egypt closed and are rockets flying that direction?

the hamas rockets are a way of getting the palestinian refugee problem back in the actuality...60years of UN resolutions wich time after time are violated by israel people hardly even remember that israel is in direct violation of un res 242-338,194 183 and many others...if all un resolutions were followed by EVERYBODY(!!!) there would be peace... and why sderot and civilians... seriously how many rockets were fired the gaza egypt border? Our chat so far: You say Israel should evacuate a city near Gaza rather than fight, and I say it is not sensible to expect them to give up their land. You then say you did not say that. Then you say Gaza fires rockets at cities for publicity against Israel closing borders, but certainly not their border with Egypt, which is also closed. I think aiming at civilians for publicity (or to make a city unliveable) is the same evil America suffered on 9/11/01. Again, this is not sense.
