When I was little, I liked robots. I saw them on TV and in movies.

And all these songs I started hearing in my early days of music listening had vocoders and sounded like "robots" were singing them.

Its hard to believe that vocoder songs are so underrated since a vocoder is the same device used to simulate talking robots in pop culture!
