Well, whymagic, WCW was a descent product during the days it died, in fact the only reason that it did die was because of AOL merging with Time Warner, which complete cut WCW's funds to nearly 0, purposely so they can sell WCW because AOL "Does not see any interest in wrestling." WCW was descent and good while WWF was doing nasty unpredictable stuff in order to get attention.

True Aol Time Warner actually lowered the price so that they could just get a bargin bin purchase and vince was the one to buy it. Nitro and thunder were actually good in the end they were better than most shows on tbs or tnt it was just because of the fact they lost 95% or their audience and became a money losing millions every year. WWF only won the war because of two things Ted turner wasn't in control no more and they copied ECW's formula while WCW was restricted from doing the same thing.

Umm, WCW was PG during its peak, Nitro turned TV14 after Russo came in. It ain't the rating, it's the product.You can still have PG and not have it watered downed to kiddies and clueless chicks(early Attitude Era, early nWo era, etc.).

Yeah but PG 10 years ago is completely different to what it is today. Censorship is a brothertrucker. It's just easier to run a TV-14 product in my opinion because they have PPVs titled "Extreme Rules" and brands called "ECW", but they're limited to what they can do.
