I see no other ruler can be matched with this "Ashoka" the Great, in past present or future. he was an erudite man with a heart filled with compassion. As in his own words, he is truely "Devaanam piya piyadassi"
As a Sri Lankan, I'm thankful for him to send his own son and daughter to us.
