OH WOW! I didnt know that about MSG or High Fructose Corn syrup. Im allergic to wheat, dairy, eggs soy and most grains. I have reduced sugar, I dont eat the things mentioned anymore, just because they were making me sick. Now I know it's much more than that! I heal much faster now than I did as a child.
@ivanscott777 Nah, my parents are pretty healthy, they arn't vegan by any stretch but eat way more good carbs from my teaching and a lot less meat and have benefited greatly from it. Processed foods such as doughnuts, pizza's and candy are crap. But whole grains, beans, fruits and starchy veggies? How can you lump those in the same category and still be sane. One low carb guru said its better to smoke a cigarette than eat a baked potato...

Want real science look up the Framingham Study or if your open mined enough look up the documentary Fat Head that will give you a bunch of studies to look at.

There are a lot of conflicting claims about what is/is not nutritious/toxic. Can you cite studies or empirical research to back assertions that vegetable oil causes cancer, learning and neurological problems, and that artificial flavorings cause neurological disorders?
For example, I understand if children don't get essential fats their brains probably won't develop properly, but that doesn't prove that vegetable oil harms their brains.
@Naile69 u shouldnt eat any liquid veg oil(maybe little exta virgin olive) as they are Too rich in polyunsaturated fats! stick to butter, coconut oil, dripping, raw cheese, cream, some eggs, and cacao butter!! you can learn more about danger of pufas on Ray Peat website!! all the best!!
