@TheMoleintheground I'm not looking to sell it but there are some sweet deals on e-bay at times.
Another option could be a Looper pedal. I picked up a Digitech Jamman solo Looper & it's real sweet , easy to use. & can store up to 16 hours of loops, songs, & licks with an 8 gb SD card. It makes you a one man band.
I find less is more when it comes to EQ; if you have all the levels maxed out it defeats the purpose. Try taking some frequencies away, addition by subtraction.
@jehrising I will try to explain the functions better next time, However, for now, if you like, you can google the operators manual in a pdf. I did & it has lots of info on this unit. Thanks,
After watching countless 424 help videos to see if I wanted to buy one this is actually BY FAR the most informative on how to use them. Thanks for putting this up
Sounds pretty cool. I was planning on getting on one of these off of ebay. Just wondering what do you use to monitor while recording and how does it sound while recording and using headphones to monitor? The latter is what I'm planning on doing since I live in an apartment and I can't have speaker monitors blaring at night.
I record each track using a sharp microphone placed in front of a gx80 crate amp. Then thru a utopia G100 pedal. & then I play it back thru whatever amp is handy at the time &
record eash successive track.
You can use headphones if you like.
I bought it thru E-bay & it works great.
It didn't come with a manual but I found one on google & printed it up.
when I was younger, so much younger than today. I never needed anybody's help in anyway...

Are you looking to sell this? I've got a Tascam digital 8-track I recently bought and I almost wish I would've bought something like this on ebay.

I didn't know they even made these 4-trak cassette recorders anymore.

@Sweeper5 They don't make the Tascam portstudio MKII anymore. I have one but I know they haven't made them since 2004.
