Great video Mike-good point taken Imagine your The engineer seeing kids on a high trestle and they have no where to get out of the trains way except to jump. Almost always when someone get killed by a train because of the stupidity of that person, the family of that person sues the train company and now Lawyers are involved to get money out of the rail company. And thats why the rail cops fine trespassers, but shouldn't harass railfans that are on public property.
Ah, yes. People like this are the people that make us railfans look bad. It's also why the police are always on top of railfans nowadays thining we're criminals. It sucks.
its not the trespassers them selves . what happens railroad police especially NJT look at railfans as "trespassing". basically we get called in for suspicious activity but really all we are doing is standing on the plat form taking photos of their trains . their is no PHOTO ban on NJT either. but my point is instead of going after criminals and trespassers some cops choose to Harris us railfans . i got a photo of 3 people running down a NJT track while a train was pulling in.the cop did nothing
