You know, those who will grow up to be proud capitalist captains of industry who currently resent the fact that they have to do the capitalist thing and pay for their own education.
@TheElasticJesus It's wise of a country to invest in it's education in order to secure a future of well educated and knowledgeable people who will take over from the passing generation. But because of Labours ridiculous deficit that it has piled up over the last few years, the new government is going to have to make massive cuts in order to keep it in check. Not Tory's fault that it has to do this, your comments seem completely unfounded thus far.
An 18 year old with average intelligence who gets a low paid job should subsidise an 18 year old who goes to Uni, BUT NOT subsidise those working class kids who r destined to follow him into mediocrity?
The exam grades have risen every year since labour got into power. As a parent, I would say that's a price worth paying. Incidentally, these so-called financial woes dont seem to have affected my standard of living. How about yours?
@TheElasticJesus Then you're lucky, because they have definitely effected mine.
And as a recently graduated student I can say that the supposedly effective management of schools is not all it is cut out to be. Not only in my school I saw that the budget was spent on new plasma TVs that were never used than science equipment and ingredients.
I notice a lot of labour-hating students tune into this board & vent their blubbering spleens about them 'orrible Marxists who made then pay tuition fees.
Okay, you over-indulged hypocrites -
Tell me why on, one hand I, the taxpayer, should pay for your higher education...
@TheElasticJesus Just take a look at the details online because I am not going to waste time explaining. If you don't even know what has happened in the country in the past 13 years then you should not be posting uninformed comments like that.
@TheElasticJesus Take a look at your previous comment. Youre making statements based on no fact at all, so sort out your facts (and your life as you must not have much of one to be spending time writing nonsensical crap on a Tory campaign video) and then once you have done that, don't come back as your pointless blabber is not needed here or anywhere else. It's obvious you're a troll seeing as when posed with an proper reply you resorted to insults.
@TheElasticJesus A better question would be how did Labour NOT destroy the economy? There are so many reasons to put together that it would not fit on Youtube comments, but here's one: Pouring unparalleled sums of cash that the country does not have into public services which occupy the majority of their time kowtowing to red tape and pedantic government rules. As for others, look them up yourself if you're so interested.
BTW. The Tories - as they always do when in government - are considering raising VAT to 20%. This means you'll pay extra for just about everything you buy.
What money DOES the people have to dish out an extra 3% on everything.
BTW. How much OF YOUR cash did labour waste, young man?
Not once during Brown's stewardship & all this HEAVY SPENDING did Britain collapse into a state of HYPER-INFLATION.
These problems were caused by - now get this - rich bankers doing the capitalist thing and handing out the ultimate hard-sell, AND gullible people taking the bait.
Im NOT in debt but now I have to bail out GREEDY & STUPID PEOPLE.
@TheElasticJesus So even though Brown was CoftheE he is not to blame for his entire financial industry falling into chaos, ok I see the logic there(not). Capitalism does not mean spending money stupid so perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the meaning of the word.
If it is the people's fault, are you suggesting the government do nothing and allow the country to die? Your arguments seem to be amounting to nothing.
If U were old enough or wise enough to know anything about free-market economics then U would know that deregulation (the idea that industry should be left alone 2 regulate itself) was a THatcherite/Reaganite policy adopted by Tony Blair.
You are hypocrites. You say NO regulation when it suits you, and regulation when it doesn't...cont...
Its funny, but I dont remember any of you spouting off four years ago when, before the banking crash, everything was hunky dory.
Now listen, & DONT ever lecture me on economics.
Look up inflation, hyper-inflation & deflation & learn how the increase of money causes money to devalue and therefore gives the impression that prices are rising...
@TheElasticJesus "silly little fag"? who sounds like the child here? Bless you, three children, supporting Labour? So you're 16 and live on a council estate? No? Why act like it then? You say beaten as if we're playing some childish game. You are arrogant and self righteous, yet you are here suggesting we vote the down to earth every day Labour Party? Are you Peter Mandelson in disguise? You certainly seem like it.
@Wikkiter Guys, if you want to take this down to a personal level (and I mean the both of you), please do feel free to comment on each other's channels rather than filling the comments with your petty bickering.
@LittleMissAmbiguous Don't tell people where they may and may not comment, or try and turn a public channel into your own regulated area. You do not own this channel, and you do not make the rules or uphold any, so stop acting like some sort of moderator or warden, because it is not your call to do so.
@Wikkiter If indeed your point is valid (which it may well be, and I apologise for annoying you), do you not think you've fallen into the hypocrite trap of telling me off for telling others off for commenting how they like? I think you'll find I'll berate whoever I choose for using offensive language, and if you want to tell me off... then do whatever you like, it's a free country :)
@TheElasticJesus As for the state of the country, ESPECIALLY if you still live in that shit hole Wakefield, if you think things are better now than 13 years ago, then you've obviously never walked the streets at night.
@TheElasticJesus Read your previous comments, very arrogant indeed. And yeah, cities are shitholes nowadays, but I used to be able to go out without fearing attack by drunken yobs, not any more. I'm not saying they didn't exist back then, but they were less common. (Not on every street corner) It's sad really. In Australia you're scared of poisonous animals. In the UK, its drunken dickheads.
And how many people work and rely on banking? The closure of the said banks would have affected millions & would have had a far worse impact on the economy.
Nowe get a load of this. This problem happened on the Republican Watch, while being looked over by...
Do Lib Dems the real voters really agree with this? Are you really at comfortable proping up Tory policies?
Vince Cable have you sold out on your ecconomic beliefs?
Nick Clegg were you really that desperate to be noticed that you sold out your entire party just for a token offer?
I won't be voting Lib Dem again this is not why i voted for you and if i had believed you would have ever done this i would have voted Labour as would many more of us.
Cameron is a gutless and weak man with no conviction. He would have offered his own mother to Tory boy Clegg fo a coalition he is pathetic and i for one cannot wait to see him fall on his fat face
@Wikkiter get a grip on what? this is a man who changes his policies with a flick of a switch electoral reform, immigration, taxes etc etc etc. At least Gordon Brown didnt bend over and let the lib dems nail him one in the keister. Infact it has been reported Cameron was seen buying kneepads for his future meetings with Clegg.
@Wikkiter Typical Tory,If you bothered to look at details you would have seen date posted. We have a deputy PM that came 3rd and never been elected.
We have a gov with no spine, scared of holding on to the fragile power they hold,It can't last more than 6 months if they both stick to thier own political beliefs.
Cameron won and is the rightful PM but how can anyone respect 2 parties that have sold out.
If this does work then Lib Dems are right wing or Tories are left wing.Either way = sell outs.
Voting reform; how about Mixed member proportional representation: 500 or 550 constituency MPs 150 or 100 based on PR. Most MPs still have a link to a constituency and it should still be possible to obtain a stable majority government majority while votes in safe seats are actually given some meaning.
If David Cameron doesn't achieve getting in power, then I do hope those people who did not vote for him do not start moaning in 6 months about the Government, labour or lib dem. They have had their chance to get the right party in power, what a waste when it's too late. Good luck David Cameron. Sally
However your comments seems very familiar....don't they normally say that the tory strategy is to slag off Labour and hope for the best? The tory election campaign has been nothing but chucking mud at Gordon Brown. I bet by the time you read this you wish you had concentrated your on attack campaign on Nick Clegg - Gordon didn't stand a chance anyway! ( I bet the billboards cost an absolute fortune - and cameroon dares to talk about cutting waste!) 1
I thought I'd also point out the very poor behaviour of the Lib Dems in my area. They have been caught vandalising Conservative posters and their leaflets are devoted to smearing the Tory candidate and misrepresenting Conservative Party policy.
On the other hand, none of the Conservative leaflets I have received have even mentioned the Lib Dems!
@instantface How do you know it's the lib dems vandalising? It could just be young activists who are against conservatives, etc, not necessarily lib dem members or representatives. Anyway, the conservatives can't exactly talk of bad behaviour...
All the anti-Cameron comments are pathetic ones made by class warriors.
I want to live in a country where people are judged on their merit, rather than class or wealth etc. As we have seen during the last 13 year, a Labour government does not produce that. The desperation of the Labour Party and its constant smears of the Conservatives are frankly disgusting.
I'm voting for optimism rather than fear. It's time for a Conservative government.
@instantface ...AGREED ! We have been subjected to too many years of a failing Labour Governement. The only way to relieve our ever-growing debt is to vote Conservatives. If I was 18, I would do so lol .
"I want to live in a country where people are judged on their merit, rather than class or wealth etc" HOLY SHIT LOL!!!!
"optimism rather than fear"...HAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Please stop it! your killing me.
Take your head out the sand and have a good look around, you complete idiot.
Although it's comforting to see that Cameron's horse faced wife is checking out the charity shops, 'cause me thinks a lot more people are gonna be shopping there pretty soon.
@Wikkiter Welcome everyone to the Tory's version of democracy. What next? Should I only be allowed to sit at the back of the bus? or maybe I should wear a little gold star?
@MrCinealta That's big of you; insulting somebody's wife over the internet. Speaking of democracy, I see comments on Labour videos must be approved before being displayed.
The Tory view on democracy which you so resent is the reason why you're able to post your disgusting comments on their uploaded videos.
@instantface Exactly! The people who are for the upper class at the expense of the working class are bad, but the people who are for the working class at the expense of the upper class are also bad.
People need to realise that no matter what - in a capitalist government there will be rich and there will be those less fortunate. I want to see an end to poverty, but if everybody was rich, what would there be to aspire to?
@instantface and what exactly would you define as a "class warrior"?
Additionally, judging people on their "merit" is very much equal to judging people on their perceived worth or value to society. Again, this simply means allowing those with disability, or who are perhaps not as bright or privileged as we would like, end up being downtrodden and forgotten about. I prefer to think that we wouldn't try judge anyone in any way, and give equal treatment to all despite any kind of boundary.
@instantface I'd like to know more about Labour Policy as quoted by Ian Duncan Smith Quote: "Labour should endeavour to change to political make up of the country forever to prevent a Conservative Government ever taking power again" - that sound like Nazi Social Engineering and Labour should be held to account for it - why don't we have laws forbidding it?
@LibLabConmakemesick you actually think that was a serious comment. Cute!

This should have caused inflation but then interest rates were lowered to counter any adverse effects....
What are u suggesting: that the banks should have gone to the wall?...
TheElasticJesus 1 year ago
@Wikkiter

Shame on the LIBERAL RIGHT WING PARTY.

@ReckonerUK According to the Polls, if people knew this would happen, 45% of the vote would have gone to the Tories instead.

Wikkiter 1 year ago
@Wikkiter get a grip on what? this is a man who changes his policies with a flick of a switch electoral reform, immigration, taxes etc etc etc. At least Gordon Brown didnt bend over and let the lib dems nail him one in the keister. Infact it has been reported Cameron was seen buying kneepads for his future meetings with Clegg.
icebergUK 1 year ago
@icebergUK No, Gordon Brown realsied that they didn't want to deal with a fool like him so he quit. Cameron has the ability.
Wikkiter 1 year ago
Clegg has Cameron dancing to his tune. The mighty Tory has to wipe Cleggs backside
and at the end of it he will end up looking weak and be out at the next election.
Brown is dead in the water and needs to resign ASAP but Clegg has Cameron looking like a desperate kid asking his dad for a new toy he saw.
Sorry Mr Cameron but Obama was right about you"what a lightweight"
ReckonerUK 1 year ago
@ReckonerUK Have you even listened to anything the news has said? Tories have conceded nothing but a referendum on political reform.
Wikkiter 1 year ago
@Wikkiter Typical Tory,If you bothered to look at details you would have seen date posted. We have a deputy PM that came 3rd and never been elected.
We have a gov with no spine, scared of holding on to the fragile power they hold,It can't last more than 6 months if they both stick to thier own political beliefs.
Cameron won and is the rightful PM but how can anyone respect 2 parties that have sold out.
If this does work then Lib Dems are right wing or Tories are left wing.Either way = sell outs.
ReckonerUK 1 year ago
@ReckonerUK Of course, my mistake. It is well known that the typical Tory does not check dates on YouTube posts.

Sally

'Lordwillm' its just too easy.
I thought I'd also point out the very poor behaviour of the Lib Dems in my area. They have been caught vandalising Conservative posters and their leaflets are devoted to smearing the Tory candidate and misrepresenting Conservative Party policy.
On the other hand, none of the Conservative leaflets I have received have even mentioned the Lib Dems!
instantface 1 year ago 14
@instantface where abouts is the area you live in, or who is the candidate in your area for Lib Dem?
ayliffe1 1 year ago

@MrCinealta That's big of you; insulting somebody's wife over the internet. Speaking of democracy, I see comments on Labour videos must be approved before being displayed.
The Tory view on democracy which you so resent is the reason why you're able to post your disgusting comments on their uploaded videos.
Wikkiter 1 year ago
@instantface Exactly! The people who are for the upper class at the expense of the working class are bad, but the people who are for the working class at the expense of the upper class are also bad.
People need to realise that no matter what - in a capitalist government there will be rich and there will be those less fortunate. I want to see an end to poverty, but if everybody was rich, what would there be to aspire to?
Wikkiter 1 year ago
