You know what I just realized, Metroid Prime's face, from his second form, looks EXACTLY like that one alien's face from that movie Independence Day when Will Smith's character fired a nuclear missile at that alien and blew up the alien and the whole entire ship. This is at the very end of the Independence Day movie. Whoever has seen it will know what I'm talkin about. Anybody agree?

Personally, I like the plasma beam shape most... MP3 didn't have that one. D:

They could have at least tried to be creative about the shapes and made new ones..... :o

I really love how the beams are different in shape, and the Hypermode beamis all the shapes combined, The Length of the Plasma, Width of the Wave and Height of the Ice beam.

The battle music with this fight kicks ass, Metriod Prime creeped me the hell out, seeing as though it turned into a spectral monster. Splat goes the metroids with power bombs.

At first, Prime's second form didn't freak me out as much and I was pretty calm (moreso relieved actually) when I fought it... but when the Metroid's showed up and I started taking huge amounts of damage, that's when I realized I wasn't in for an easy fight.

this is the easiest boss of metroid i think that hive mecha made more damadge than metroid essence

smoe thing that you forgot that you can destroy the metroids shooting them the ice beam + missile launcher

this took me so long to figure out, how i had to switch heat and x-ray in the middle since MP swaps between them. i thought he was just floating around for the longest time, while those phazon pools kept drying up.

I figured out Prime was swapping because of those damn ground shocks that kept appearing while Prime was "gone".

Must have freaked you out especially if the Metroids kept spawning from the pools as well xD

the metroid prime was made into dark samus, dark samus is the main boss in the other 2, basically metroid prime was felt through the series

I'm assuming that when the Metroid Prime sends out what looks like a wave of fire like energy across the ground, you are jumping every time it happens, or do you just let it pass through you without any damage?

metroid prime is the deadliest boss in metroid history other than ridley. i mean come on it is the final boss in mp1 mp2 mp3. and i personally think it is the coolestfinal boss of all the metroid games.

so is the same on Metroid Prime Hunters. to expose Goreas weak spot in it's 1st form, i had to hit both of his shoulders first. but i only had to hit it's 2nd form with the Omega Cannon. with a lot damage on each hit

I found this: Near the point at which you start is something resembling a twig embedded into the ground. While standing on top of this twig, you are completely immune to Metroid Prime's shockwave, it's only (common) attack. The only things that can hurt you are the short range lunge attack and spawned Metroids, which fall easily anyway.

Curiously, while standing here, Metroid Prime will not change emission spectra without laying a pool of Phazon, which helps the fight along considerably.
