The new album is junk...but they were good. very good.That's pure gold. I want to think that they ARE very good, but sorry the new album is like...'holy crap are you fucking kidding me?' it sounds like cheap pop, teenager cheap pop done for teenager girls. and the kooks deserve the respect of everybody, no matter the age...because they make awesome stuff, and Hugh is probably one of the best guitarist I've ever heard,(sorry mr Turner;)) but I don't know what happened with that new album...

The top bands today sell so much. Their music is for the moment. EXAMPLE....The Beatles today no matter who you talk to they know who they are. No matter if they think the Beatles suck, they are known by everybody. I believe the Kooks music is not for the moment and their listeners have a unique passion.
