As expected, Kyshenko managed to capitalise on his reach and overall somewhat better reflexes (Drago fights too much like a heavyweight. Without being one. Not very handy a style against 70-72 kg. chaps). That said, next Kyshenko will face Petrosyan. Giorgio will almost certainly punish him properly.
Dutch school more complete? K1 is not Muay Thai less grappling and no elbows is more complete??
There are great gyms and trainers in Holland the training is tough and competitive. It has a great fight circuit for pros (from all over the world) to get regular money. Also better than Thailand for heavier guys.
Great country, great people, great fighters but do does the rest of the world think you have the best fighters in the world??? NO...
@Chayyai More complete refers to the skills needed. The Dutch school requires fighters to be able to pass a block, block, withstand pressure, and combine, or you can't win.
MT differs for instance in that points are awarded for blocked strikes, so you can win without the skill to pass a block. You can't clinch, so you can't reduce pressure by clinching, you'll need the skill to keep up or counter.
It's also much faster paced. I'll have this any day over two Thai staring at eachother for minutes
Yes i know Fedor he is very talented as well mate but Thailand has never been a dutch colony.Indonesia was.But in the beginning we've had two camps in Holland in Amsterdam.Mejiro Gym and Chakuriki. They have learned in Thailand and brought the skills over to Holland.Later on we have developed our own style which is more complete you know and which is called the dutch school. That is why we have a lot of good fighters and even more good teachers and coaches.Cheers mate
I like Artur in southpaw. I also like his output in this fight as he'd been a little too patient recently, I think. Gym change seems to have expanded with the gym change!
You have good muay thai school because you have had colonies all over the world, like England, but Russia have many talented fighters and they are Russians where ever they go to train!
Or either you can say that Povetkin has became American 'cause now his trainer is Teddy Atlas...
@YMthefirst your right ther are a lot of good russian fighters.very good schools as well.Because Russia is a very big country you have a lot of talent there but the level of training in Holland is the best so that is why foreign fighters come to train in Holland. That is the so called Dutch School, Japan knows it Thailand knows it and all fighting countries know. But Russia is coming up!Very good fighters
Dutch school is very good and Holland has many talented fighters, I am just saying that Dutch had learned muay thai from Thais when Holland had colonies all over the world...
Even Fedor Emilianenko has been going to Holland to train and has friends there.
I think that he will be better trained in kickboxing in match with Silva that he has been trained in Holland like he has been doing when he fought Crocop and like he is doing these months.
@wehatemillwall what do you mean no Russian? if you don't consider this as a langiage, don't even follow this fighter then... what's to special abotu Dutch?..blah blah!!!

Drago isn't an Amsterdam native. He lives and trains in Alkmaar, some 40 km from here.
