He's my favorite right next to Tony! Who also happens to be on this episode! Double Whoo!
Haha, they were laughing at Greg with the first thing he said! ^_^ Tony's authors are always so randomly hilarious! "There, there, and there" lmao Josie is easily the best female performer that has been on Whose Line, US or UK. Mike is great as well!
I disagree that they are the best (I think Colin is the best on his own) but what I will say is that they certainly made the best pairing. There can be no ambiguity in anybody's mind about that, for sure.
You are simply and American, who wouldn't know what the other performers could do. Colin and Ryan are excellent without each other and you should be more tolerant. :D
I was never a huge fan of the game Authors. It was a good example of their wit but most of the time I am only familiar with one or two of the author/book styles that they are doing.
There are a lot of authors out there and the chances of any audience memboer being familiar with any four random authors is low
Reading is a much larger past-time in England than in other parts of the world, I think it's safe to say, and the people watching this programme were brought up in a generation more well-read than the current. I think the audience would be more likely than you think to be familiar with these authors.
It's just a sad example of how something can lose its sparkle over time, I suppose.
I wouldnt say the US version sucks. I agree that Drew was a pretty pathetic host and that the UK version was superior (in my opinion) but the US version still had a lot of great moments.
I have to disagree. In my opinion Drew was at least as good a host as Clive was, even though his jokes were a little flat and he was trying a little too hard to be funny. But his addictive laugh which always makes me laugh along when I hear it makes up for it.
It really is kind of funny - I'm not a native English speaker, and yet (or because of it!?) it doesn't matter whether it's British or American English. I understand most of both of them.
The UK version is definitely subtler. I never had any trouble with the accents, and I think it's refreshing not to have the audience hooting and whistling every six seconds, but to each his own. There are excellent performances in both.
Something tells me that most of the US audiences wouldn't get it. No offence to Americans, as I am one myself, but reading books doesn't seem to be a big pastime there anymore...
I had no idea it was spelt that way but I watched a clip on YouTube to take me down memory lane. Clearly he is far too superior to spell his name the normal way :)
wow, Josie is especially pretty in this episode.

@hulk555cola Maybe because Ryan appeared just four episodes afterwards? 2x05, maybe.

I think that Greg appeared in the show the longest but Ryan appeared the most frequently...

Clive and Drew keep introducing Ryan as the one who has been a part this show the longest, but it is actually Greg.

Josie is funniest woman that has been on Whose Line in my opinion. She's lovely!
Tony always has so random things in authors. XD While the others pick some real authors, he goes with something like My Little Pony.
