  • Most of these really don't look too similar... I think if we examined all dancing we would see similarities.

  • Plus she didnt steal anymoves they were just similar

  • Actually she loves the african culture and jus adapted it n the tofo tofo guys actually came to her studio n showed her the dance moves

  • We are DRC baybee! x

  • When the Africans girls do the moves, it looks FLUID, sumptuous and highly sexy.

When Beyonce and her skinny friends try the moves- they look rigid and forced!

Thumb Up if you support this.

  • @NambangiBrothers No, and shut up, and seriously stop hating it does make you look any better only pathetic.

  • VERY REAL...

  • search bolder gazet van antwerpen

  • They should sue Beyonse.

  • I am currently deployed to Africa, nd I must say that these ladies nd gents are showing what they are made of! Just from talking to the locals here, they love to dance all types of dances nd they show pride in what they do. Africa is a beautiful country :)

  • @airforcechik1 africa is not a country... yet.

  • @ylianartiste Excuse me. My apologies. Africa is a CONTINENT, and I am in the country of Djibouti, Africa.

  • This music is out of this world. so Beautiful...it gives me joy and makes me wanna dance like my Brothers and Sisters from The Motherland...Africa.

  • ive never seen no africans dance the way she is out the rest of her video she just wanted to copy that dance

  • what's the song Tofo is dancing to? I love it.

  • MOCAMIQUE !!!! She personally took the Mocambican dancers from Mocambique. the other Arican dance moves she made are also from Jamaican dances example calypso. I think Africa should let Tofo Tofo shine for now, because it annoys me how everybody all of a sudden wants to take the credit. She personally called the boys in coz her pro dancers couldnt master those moves and that makes them special and Mocambique special. The other dance moves her dancers could make it. Im just saying.

  • themm african gurlz know how to move they hipz n i luv to sing n dance but cnt dance lik daht boo

  • Good to see our AfroAmerican singers take note of African music and dance. Snoopdog did a colabo with Dbanj, Olivia Ex of Gunit recorded a song with Fally Ipupa. Also Kelly Roland colabo with Dbanj in MTV Africa show. NICE NICE NICE Beyoncee, She looks like a queen with the African Head tie. So regal, So African. ♥♥♥

  • Did the african dancers receive proper pay and credit for that choreography???????????Why do we need approval for our dances?????? Beyonce is not the first to take African dance moves!!!!!

  • Did the african dancers receive proper pay and credit for that choreography???????????

  • Congrats 2 all of the people who support this initiative by BEYONCE and well done 2 the MOZAMBICANS TOFO TOFO

  • GREAT viedo!

  • Her Choreographer is an African Dance Instructor... Of course he's going to use African choreography for someone who wants African Movements in her video! So Wat! The world can become even more inspired by African traditions now in a movement to become United.

  • check this chic out she needs beats but she has a way with words @techytreckynerd

  • More importantly than anything else, this does highlight the effect that vastly different cultures can have on each other. Much of "American" music is actually a reinterprtation of African music. The blues, for instance, seems to be largely an adaptation of the fingering of the Mandinge ngoni to the guitar. The banjo is just an up-dated akonting. What Beyonce has done is to show that the dance moves come from the same roots.Watch for more trans-Atlantic exchanges to come. It's time.

  • So we need Beyonce (or Western countries) validation to our African moves, so it can be seen as hype????

    I don't get it !!!

What kills with some black (African) folks buy that shit!

Black people in the Diaspora have been using African moves forever but did like they created them.

  • The problem is people with limited education like you who don’t understand business terms. Validation is the capability to make a sale because the offered goods are genuine. Try to issue a check without a valid signature and see. Who will be stupid enough to cash it? Maybe you! Beyonce is like any buyer and the celebration here is in making a sale and motivating other people to follow her trend. If you don’t understand the marketing concept of celebrity endorsement, go back to Africa.

  • @nubiacoco: Since someone flagged my response as spam, let me respond directly to you. Your limited education prevents you from understanding the simple marketing concept of celebrity endorsements. Pepsi paid millions of dollars to have Beyonce validate their product. Here Beyonce is doing it for free. So what seems to be your problem in dissing out bizarre accusations like “what kills with some black (African) folks buy that shit”? USA is a free country where one can celebrate Beyonce at will.

  • We are Africa. As members of the diaspora, everything we do can be traced in some way or fashion back to the continent. While I applaud her acknowledge the power of African traditions through dance and music, she and her management need to do a better job at reinforcing her African-ness through her imagery and being.

  • @twannifufu Preach!!!!!! You are so right!!!!! It's frustraiting watching her not acknowledge our culture properly.

  • @twannifufu TTTTTTHHHHAAANKYOU!!

Oh my goodness some sense on youtube-- thank you I whole whole heartedly agree

  • @twannifufu Its how she likes to look and how her fans like her no need to Inforce..shes mixed half french, half African American she#People like her Imagery the way It is.

  • @deodatus89 As a fan, I don't appreciate when she is airbrushed to look white and has a weave down to her buttocks. It perpetuates the ideology that the closer to white you are the more beautiful you are, and she already benefits from light skinned privilege. All I'm saying is that being a person of color in the U.S. she should be more conscious of how her image affects other who identify with her. I always wish her the best, but I want more.

  • @deodatus89 OMG!She is not half french.

  • Thankfully Beyonce is aware of true rhythmic talent in Africa and had the orginal dancers in her video. I don't care for her songs nowadays, but I commend her on this collaboration.

  • You should thank her choreographers, managers, producers, video directors, etc.

  • 4:30 to 4:44 That's the Eskista a shoulder dance from Ethiopia.

  • @MinziTolero1 i just checked it, i think your right! i think she just compiled different dance moves from all parts of Africa into one for her video "who run the world" very interesting though :)

  • @mi33slick Yes. I read somewhere that she was inspired by different African cultures and music whilst recording her upcoming album. If only she had chosen and recorded a better song because I think this one is just awful.

  • Thanks Idamawatu for sharing this with us! I've always loved your channel and I have learned so much over the years. My appreciation for all types of African music has grown so much. The dance, music, vocals, and rhythm of African music are in a league of their own!

  • damn..wow
