vibyjocke is right, you could just as well type "superModeInitiate:1!!". For the record, basically all programs are prefetched, so the only thing you can mean is that this improves the fetching, which it does not :P...

You should do more research before posting videos such as this. This is infact an urban legend, and has no positive effect whatsoever. For more reading: blogs.msdn. com/ryanmy/default. aspx (keyword prefetch).

Are you seriously saying that the programmer at Microsoft who wrote that entry is lying? Did you read what the command in fact does?

@vibyjocke I am not calling anyone a lier. However, based on personal experience I can tell you that I have seen a small change in Thunderbird's startup time. That may be my imagination but as far as I know, this tip works. I greatly appreciate the link, though. :)
